I'm the one to blame for lack of helping the player, when I made the mod I was deeply influenced by Dark Souls. It's one of my biggest regrets, I should have included a lot more hints, sorry.
You can convert, remaster, translate, etc, this mod, just PM and credit me, that's all it's needed. Just because I don't have enough free time or motivation to mod, doesn't mean I'm angry or grumpy with others.

1-Please read only if you have shout problems!
It seems installing the mod with NMM shrinks the size of your BlackLand.bsa, please check to see if it's +- 400 mb, if it's smaller than that ( < 200 mb) you should uninstall the mod with NMM and install it manually.
-First unzip -Open the folder and copy the contents to your Skyrim Data folder (BlackLand.bsa and BlackLand.esp) -Normally: C:-Program Files (x86)-Steam-steamapps-common-skyrim-Data -Start the game, choose DATA FILES, check BlackLand -Done!
OR, if you know what you're doing, uncompressing the files should be enough to solve the problem.

After the dragon attack starts speak with Julius, he tells you to go to the unreachable tower, speak with the Golem in the woods (right side) so you have the ride of your life!
Please I Need help with the Fire From The Deep Quest, it says that my Shout inst strong enough but I cant find the third Earthake Word...Where can I find it?
Description page: "~HOW TO START~ ============== When you start this mod a new spell tome (book) is added to your inventory, "Teleport to BlackLand", read it to learn the new "Teleport to BlackLand" spell, then use the spell to teleport!"
That doesn’t say how to start the mod, it tells you what to do once the mod has started, so... how is the mod started?
After installing and activating the mod, a new spell tome will be added to your inventory (thst is kind of the start for the mod if you will). Reading the description for the new spell "Teleport to BlackLand" says "Only works inside Riverwood Sleeping Giant Inn." So, read the spell tome, learn the spell, go to the Sleeping Giant Inn and cast the spell.
Thank you, I will install it and try it again. My last run was with MO2, and the game would not start with this mod installed. I am using Vortex again now, so it should be fine again.
I have just tried it again via vortex. A completely fresh install vs the other couple of times I have tried to use this mod, and Skyrim refuses to start with this mod installed. As soon as it is disabled... no issues. No other mod does this for me. I have roughly 100 mods installed.
Hello. This mod is nice, some quests are really good. It would be nice to have an walkthrough. At the moment I'm in the Doomed quest, and don't know what to do. I managed to climb using healing spells, and got to the area of the poison gas and locked gates. There seems to be a puzzle in the floor, but I can't be sure because nothing I do makes any difference, and there are no clues to the solution.. Actually, I'm getting sick of trying so I'll probably just tcl out of it. But if someone knows a solution I'd be thankfull. Cheers!
I would love to help all of you, but I don't remember many things! That said, in the mod description I have the following about the Doomed quest:
Namira Gauntlets (spell) ------------------------ -Complete Doomed quest -Recover the coin purse from Sadoc -Traverse the lake in Faal Daanik Dilon -Climb the sand and rocks at your right, you will find a skeleton, in front of him is a heavy hammer -Go to the Tower Of Doom, reach the last floor, hit the Skyrim flag with the heavy hammer -The gauntlets are on the altar
-Doomed- -How to start: just enter the Doomed tower (in Ruins)
At the beginning of the tower (directly after entering), there are four special floor tiles showing four different images (one is for example the "Dragonborn" symbol). The sequence of these four tiles from the door to the stairs is the solution for the room upstairs with the same four tiles as pressure plates, but in different order from the ground floor. So, in order to continue you have to activate the four pressure plates in the same order as seen on the ground floor.
Beautiful new land, lots of interesting people to meet. Several quest opportunities as well.
I did NOT like the heavy handed start quest. You are forced into an animation, you have to sit down and sign papers. Any time the game takes control out of the hands of the player, this is a failure on the mod (or game) designers part. Give me a quest, toss a quest marker on the desk, I will walk over and interact. Forcing me into this action removes my agency as a player. This is bad design, and frustrating.
Hello! So yesterday I tried this mod on Xbox. I just installed to try it out, played for about an hour, and uninstalled. At a glance, it seemed to have very nice ideas, but no idea on how to proceed. For instance, the coliseum is supposed to be empty after you enter it? And the Troll lair is supposed to have just 2 trolls? More importantly, do the dungeons respawn? Thanks
Hi! Thanks for the reply and many thanks for this amazing mod, it's one of my favorites! After my first post I tried again your mod, and manage to complete all quests, and of course it remains in my load order! The replay value of this mod is almost unmatchable, specially the coliseum, I love it! Yes, there are some issues, and the player needs to be carefull, some quests seem to trigger only depending on the order, but after all that is overcome we get ourselves an amazing island with lots of respawning challenges! And, some of the dungeons are radiant quest enabled, thank you for that! In the meantime, have you made any other mod? Thanks again for this! Cheers from Portugal
Glad to know! Yes, you can only continue/trigger some quests after you've done others, all it's structured in a way to achieve a final climax. Once again, my error was lack of hints to the player.
I've only made 2 mods, and only this one really matters because it includes the 1st one.

Hi - I'm doing this great mod again for the umpteenth time, and enjoying as always. One thing I've never cracked though: in Broken Pact, after you've despatched all the ocupants, where do you find the key to the cages containing the dead villagers (amongst others)? Any pointers would be welcome!
I'm so sorry.... I don't remember! I'm not ignoring your and everybody else comments, I just can't remember a lot of stuff and for some reason I wasn't getting Nexus notifications.
I'm doing fire from the deep quest, but when i get close to one of the giant ice atronochs, i get an error in the top right saying couldnt find atronach and the ice surrounding one of the fire bowls never un-thaws. On Xbox unfortunately. Any tips?
Edit: so after killing all the dragur first while having three atronochs follow me, the first fire unlocked. After killing 2 more atronochs, 2 more unlocked. But when i kill third, last fire doesnt unlock.
Replaying this mod - whose 2nd main defect is the name, because it's a sunny island, so the name is somewhat mischevious - was like to find an old friend. A LOT of hours of nice playing, complex quests, beautiful places, and not just violence. The 1ST DEFECT is however not to have included in the file bunch at least a minor walktrough. Just replaying it after years I could understand how so many situations in which I was obliged to use console commands could have been avoided if playing the quests in a certain order. "Fire from the deep", a beautiful one, MUST be played AFTER the Golem series - "The Old Stone Giants" etc., otherwise it won't work if not by console, because to proceed it needs a shout. A very nice shout, btw, I wonder why standard Skyrim never had something alike... Anyway, a jewel not to miss !
