[--EDIT: Have done a lot of the rebuilding, including integrating the unreleased "Food for the Hungry", but have run into problems with Creation Kit crashes removing a lot of the items. As such - though it is technically made and functional - I will need to redo it. Most of the texture work and theory is done though, so its just making the items and adding their ConstructableObject and LevelledList entries. --]
I want to do patch versions and such for this but because of the Food for the Hungry module I've been making, it turns out that (unlike Oblivion) Skyrim's *.esp cannot recognise each other, so I will need to convert this to (or even redo this as) an *.esm. This will take me quite a while, but ALSO gives you guys the opportunity to provide feedback for the recreation.
Looking for someone who can help with making this RND compatible. The author of RND is not responding to my PMs and it isn't a mod I use, so I'm hoping someone who does use it can inform me of what to change (including bonus appropriate scripts like effects from drinking).
Most recent changes: 1.1 update: ---> added several Green Pact-friendly bosmeri wines ---> added coffee ground and drink (from Elsweyr - talk to Kahjiit merchants) ---> added tomato juice ---> added medicinal tea ---> more file versions ---> innkeepers now have a chance to stock all non-bosmeri drinks, but favour cider first, then tea
x.x.1 fix: ---> balanced debuff on medicinal tea - was too powerful against newer characters
I've never used this mod but one of my mods keeps trying to access your DFF-WTLS.esp or whatever. Been trying to narrow down the problem, apparently one of the authors of my mod thought it would be a great idea to point their scripts at a completely separate esp from a mod not on their required mod list.
I like your mod a lot; especially the bosmer drinks add a lot to the immersion :-). It is great to have green pact conform drinks^^ It is a shame though that your mod does not seem to work together with Frostfall. It would be nice if drinking one of your teas would have the same effect in Frostfall as drinking for example Nord Mead does in this mod: provide a short term protection from freezing and keep you actually warm :-) Maybe there is a way to implement that? This way anyone who does not want to drink alcohol all the time could have a warm drink in Frostfall ^^. Or would the author of Frostfall be the correct person to address this wish to?
Cool mod. I've been looking for a way to add coffee into my Skyrim immersion. I was using a different mod that sold a water ingredient at inns, but it was too rare to get. So far I like this one, but I have a few suggestions.
You said "Currently looking to make wells activated to receive water. (No known way to get water from the world without scripts however.)" Well I would say that the easiest way to do this is to contact Thicketford about using his "spring water" for his mod "Collect Water from Wells", http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38507/? . This is the same "spring water" from Realistic Needs and Diseases. It makes getting water in Skyrim easy and lore friendly. I would also recommend contacting CaptainRC about using his "milk" from "Be a Milk Drinker", which is also the milk as in RND.
I would suggest an espresso pot, that makes Cyrodilian Espresso & Colovian Cappuccino.
Any chance we could get a version of this with effects more in line with a few of the food and alchemy overhauls out there (IE, a small non-stackable long term regen buff, rather than an instant heal)?
