   how to make it? there is no option to make nightingale shield in blacksmith forge

      That is the incorrect way to ask.  Say "How do you make it?"  Hope this helps.

   Any chance I can get this without the enchantment/different animation? I just really like how my character looks and don't like the fact that it turns black whenever I'm sneaking (which I do about 80% of the time) Otherwise awesome shield!

      This will involve scripting and I don't like it in Skyrim much. Also this mod is ancient, it was made even before Creation Kit was released. It was re-uploaded by request and I'm not planning to support it, as so very few of you like it. Sorry if you are disappointed.

   I actually like this. As a person who plays with usual characters (heavy armoured Orc thieves, warhammer wielding assassin Khajiit), this suits my play style.
   
   While I do agree that having the shield look like the hilt is a god idea, it would be difficult. Until then, I'll just have this C:

    My Dark Elf doesn't use shields. But this shield, displayed over the fire place, will bring back fond memories of the old days as an assassin.
