Well, not all of us are english native speakers... Notorious, in spanish is literally "notorio", wich means clear, evident, easy to see... But in the end this is about mods for an excelent game, not about languajes. -1 reputation because of this... ? "Al buen entendedor, pocas palabras"= "To the wise, a few words".
When I say "notorious" is when i'm talking about the optional files, not the main file. -
I think what draconisnox is asking is how increased alpha makes the snowflakes look more "notorious"
Look up a definition for the word notorious, i think you might have it mixed up. -

The alpha channel is part of the .dds file, and defines transparency. In plain words, in the main file, the snowflakes are pretty transparents, not in the optionals. -
"In the optional files, the alpha channel is increased, so the flakes are more notorius."
What does that even mean?
