For those asking for a capeless version, I believe this is just a retexture mod. There is a "Capeless Nightingale" mesh mod here on Nexus that you can use, and it works with retextures. I have been using this amazing Sinister Nightingale mod for years with the capeless Nightingale mesh, and have never had any problems.

I know it's been a while, but just in case it helps someone: if the armor and cape are different nodes (based on the images I'd guess that they are), you can open the meshes in nifskope and delete the node for the cape. You'll probably want to look up a tutorial if you haven't used nifskope before, but if I'm right and they are different nodes, it should be relatively easy to edit out.
