Question: I can't uninstall this mod. What to do?
Answer: Disable the MagicArmorVisuals.esp. If you have Mod Organizer disable it there.

Q: I did, but I can still see the visuals.
A: Then another mod is involved. There are several mods that provide similar changes (like Cutting Room Floor)

What I suggest you to do:
Download file manager like DoubleCommander or TotalCommander
    https://sourceforge.net/p/doublecmd/wiki/Download/

Navigate to Skyrim/Data directory (where all the esp/esm files are located)

    Press ALT+F7 (call Advanced Search)
    - Find Text in file: ArmorFFSelf50
    - Set the *.esp file mask
    - Don't search the subdirectories
    - Start the search

In my case I have 3 mods:
    - Balanced_Magic
    - Cutting Room Floor
    - And my mod (esp is renamed)

Disable all the mods from the search results. Check how it looks in game.

Perform the same actions with "Mod Organizer\mods" directory, but make sure to enable "search the subdirectories".

If you still can't get rid of the visuals, provide some screenshots of the Searh window with paramers. I'm pretty sure you made some mistake.

Q: Can the game cache visuals to a savegame or some ini file?
A: No, it can't. I'm sure about it for 99%, since I developed some expertise in savegame editing and management.

Q: Should I just reinstall the whole game?
A: DON"T DO IT! You will lose your previous configuration and mods, so in the end It will do more harm than good. The only case in which you can try to perform a full reinstall is when you don't understand the problem. But the "magic visuals" problem is nothing special, it's very easy to understand.

Reinstalling the game should be avoided as much as possible.

Q: Should I clean the scripts folder o clean my savegame from scripts?
A: This mod have NO scripts, and the problem you are experiencing is NOT related to scripts. So any script-related activities are useless.

Q: How can you be such arrogant person? You are giving bad image for the modding community.
A: kk, I will go probably kill myself now.

Q: I think you have no expertise and I disagree with something you mentioned avobe.
A: Talk is cheap. I expect you to prove me wrong with some research.

First off thank you for this, I am one of the rare few who prefer the cutting room floor restored effects. To those wondering no you do not need to remove CRF to use this, nor do you need to remove a bunch of other mods, just open it up in xEdit and patch it, it is super easy. Only 4 spells to patch and you will learn the beginnings of conflict resolution, it is fun.

I like the visuals, I just wish it didn't cover the entire face. Why do the visuals cover the weapons? I have dual sheath redux to put weapons on back. That shouldn't make the weapons all covered in flesh armor visuals.

So if I'm understanding correctly I have to disable cutting room floor and slew of other mods in order for this to work?

Hi, first thing first I love the mod and think the textures look great. But I seem to run in an issue semingly at random. When I use a flesh spell it won't display properly and I'll get the standard green glow effect and I'll have to recast it to get those texture. Sometimes it works just fine and dosen't seem to bug this way when NPC's use them. I tried to reinstall twice and the placement in ly load order dosen't seem to matter.

Any clue what the issue might be?

Is it only related to a single spell? I think something can overwrite the effect. Did you try to play with the load order?

I may have found another file that contains this change. Immersive Sounds Compendium appears to include this. You can revert the change easily by going into xEdit and Changing the anim textures to vanilla on ArmorFFSelf25, 50, 75 and 100. Hope it helped

Casting a healing spell (or any other spell that has adds a body glow temporarily) makes the visuals of this mod vanish for a few seconds. While not a critical bug, it is very noticeable and annoying. CRF also has this issue.

From one of the comments, it seems like an unsolvable issue. I guess only one body shader can be active at the same time. What a shame, since this mod is a must-have for mage armor users.
