Just started a game with my favorite follower, Inigo, and my favorite mod, Requiem, and of course using this patch. I've found that he attacks slowly enough that by shear chance he might hit something, but this is on rare occasion. It's not that he's overpowered, underpowered, or anything you want to say, it's just that he swings his sword at literally one mile a minute. In fact, he doesn't hit anything at all but instead stands there as a meat shield while trying to figure out how to swing his God damn sword.
So, anyone else having this problem and is there any fix? Or should I just go to that other patch thing.
This guy is completely overpowered and has some very strange perks - the one that multiplies all damage taken probably shouldn't be in there. I recommend people look at what Azirok did with Arissa's Requiem patch (sneak peek: she has about 500 less health and stamina, is flagged Protected instead of Essential, and still feels very balanced at level 41) and make their own adjustments based on that.
Agreed, that 1.13 patch that was supposed to fix him didn't do enough it seems. I just got him, and he's one-shotting every bandit. Definitely not requiem-level balancing.

However, I've been having the greyface issue with Inigo which I couldn't fix for the life of me and after a ton of asking around on both mods' pages it turned out this patch was causing the issue. I do not know how or why, I am a dummy regarding modding - personally I think it's all witchcraft - all I know is Inigo with Requiem looks normal but with the patch he gets the greyface bug.
It's not a HUGE issue, he looks fine, but I'd still like to fix it if at all possible.
Before you upload.. load patch on TES5Edit.. right click -> sort master..
You prolly set Requiem to .esm to make master, then after changing back, Requiem is listed under Inigo.. in the patch master list.. which will cause wrye bash to show the patch orange checkbox.
Anyone wanna confirm if this happens for them too? Just went through a giant forsworn dungeon and Inigo literally one shot every single thing while whenever I took a stab at one of them it tickled them.
There's a big issue with this somewhere, when I disable the mod it does not occur.
When I load my game up, Inigo seems to have his default weapons, despite the fact that I threw them off a tall waterfall as I thought they were overpowered.
The issue is that I can still see them on him. Without the patch, the game realises the weapons are gone. With it, it's like he isn't able to let go of them.
What happens is when he tries to pull out a 1H weapon, he gets stuck in a never ending weapon unsheathing loop (the sound loops too) or he pulls out an invisible sword.
When I disable your mod, I use 'removeallitems' on him and the issue is resolved, all his items disappear and 1H weapons work again. When I do it with your mod enabled, I am unable to remove all of his items, they just won't go away no matter what I try and he is unable to unsheath any 1H weapons. 2H weapons and bows are fine.
I have spent hours going through various things and the above pinpoints the issue.
thank's for this patch, but i have to say inigo i very overpowered, i was attacked by a giant and inigo one hit killed him from full health and i was just at lvl 12, after that i made some changes to the esp via tes5edit and i think now inigo is balanced

I would rather have him underpowered than overpowered, Requiem is all about difficulty after all.

On second thought tho, Vilja and Hoth would be nice.. the other 3 are more fit with light armor, so doesnt really require perks to function.
Vilja and Hoth tho, are tanks by default so heavy armor perks would benefit them greatly.

How will this cause issues? because I have 4 requiem patches that shows as orange in wrye bash.
Group of bandits? Inigo just casually strolls through and one bangs them all
Cave Bear? More like cave chump, Inigo destroys them instantly
Troll? Steamrolls them through the regen almost instantly
Using version 1.0 (I think?) because im not sure how I should go about updating, is Inigo less godlike in the newest patch?

I personally do not have your issue so I do not know what is going on.
Make sure the patch is below Inigo.esp.
