I'm curious, can this be used to download mods? Meaning the list links back to the mods, and so you can potentially mass download the entire list of mods faster than if you sat there and searched each one up manually? (Sorta like how Wabbajack does)
Umm, that's what the Nexus Collections are... Just click on the Collection menu in the navbar at the top of the Nexus page/site.
Browse through the Collections, and decide which Collection you like, so click on "Add to Vortex" inside that Collection, then it will launch Vortex (assuming you already installed it), and it'll download and install all the mods in that collection (some utilities - e.g., F4SE, or ENB, or performance fix DLLs - in a Collection may need manual installation though as their method of installation is not like most mods)
Similar to the Collections concept, there are other similar automated-modlist-installer sites/utilities, most famous of which are Wabbajack, S.T.E.P., and Midnight Ride.
Vortex and ModWatch serve different purposes. Vortex is a mod organizer, it allows you to install and track mods that you use, but it is a standalone utility. ModWatch is a tool that allows you to upload your installed list of mods to its website, with your customized sub-site URL, so you can share this modlist (modwatch) URL to others for various reasons including when seeking help in Nexus Forums and elsewhere for troubleshooting mod conflicts and issues.
same. it keep happening to me. I can upload the first time but after that I can't because the server is not responding. I can't even login on the website as it says invalid credential.
I'm sorry if this has been asked before. I use MO2 and LOOT. When I use the MO2 Sort button it gives me a different load order list than LOOT. I know they are supposed to be the same thing. Is there a way to print my actual LOOT list here, as it is more accurate? I'm not trying to be nitpicky or anything like that. I just downloaded 1000+ mods after transferring from Vortex and I need to sort my list in MO2 so it is somewhat accurate now. And my fingers are tired of typing. EDIT: I'm not entirely sure I'm using this correctly. Does it just make an alphabetical list or does it sort by current load order? If so, how? Sorry again. Newbie.
Maybe someday, the majority of the work for the site and tool are from late college and the first couple years after. Kids and career don't allow for fiddling much anymore. Always happy to look at PRs if you'd like to contribute though!
