I don't suppose you could update this to work with the new Frostfall update?

This is the one mod I've been waiting for,
I hope you can stay determined and finish it eventually.

This mod alone will make me start playing skyrim again.

Summer time in my game now but I have noticed that when I go up to higher elevations it goes from "The Sun is Radiant" to "The Air is Bone-Chilling". No inbetween cold at all like "The Air is Cool". Nope, just goes to instantly freezing my ass off. Did I mention that it was Summer time also? Its just weird and doesn't seem to fit with Summer time themes to instantly freeze your butt off from a "Sun is Radiant" temperature.

[sigh]...yep. Seems this mod has some issues and left abandoned because the author believes he can get actual physical season changes in Skyrim. Many have tried. Wouldn't it been more prudent to get THIS mod to work correctly before messing with actual visual changing seasons? I give up on this mod.

I don't believe that's an issue with this patch. It happens with unpatched Frostfall from what I've noticed. The Seven Thousand Steps leading to High Hrothgar is where it's most noticeable.

I'd like to know if these changes are visual as well, so snow disappears in cities like winterhold windhelm and dawnstarts and when winter comes the south builds up with snow as well is this the case or just temperature alone?

If you read the description page it says that he is working on that. I doubt it will work. Many have tried, all have failed. So no, this does not make visual changes when seasons change.

Very neat idea that I hadn't thought of before. This seems like something that should have been built into the official Frostfall mod. I'm glad to see someone working on bringing this project to realization.

Good idea. I wasn't planning on it, but... I'm definitely going to need testers at some phase during development before release, so it would be good to get people following.

New thread started for tracking the progress: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/2650979-skyrim-changing-seasons-wip/

    In response to post #23150429.

People have discussed this and 100% sure it is impossible to change seasons without disabling/enabling mods. I know even Bethesda worked on that for Skyrim and could never get it to work properly. Just one of those things that they may have for us in Elder Scrolls VI.

So if I could get it to work, it would be that much more exciting, yes? I love proving people wrong...

Load this up. Go somewhere in the Riverwood area (I picked meshes specifically from this area to test). Console "set gamemonth to 1"

Then start walking towards Whiterun... and while you're at it, try picking some flowers or crops in the farms when you get there. Because those things grow so well in the winter, you know?

This is a proof of concept, but I'm working on an SKSE plugin for the same functionality to get around some of the major Papyrus limitations. I'm not including psc source because it's utter crap.

Interesting, do you have a post/blog or another way as to know how this project is going ?
