Thank you all for the comments, endorsements and donations, truly appreciated :) If you have trouble finding the Ice Blade this analysis of the map with more concrete markings might help figure out it's location:
At what level can we successfully complete this quest to get the sword? It is only mentioned that the opponents are high level but this high level is 40 or 60? or maybe 80? These 1h and 2h swords look really epic. Especially 2h. I would like to walk around with such swords on my back like in The Witcher game XD
Using the Xbox version of this. When I used Krahvalok to summons the frost monarch, I couldn’t kill it and it says it is summoned for 23975 hours. I don’t want this thing following me. Please help.
1: The gate doesnt open once close as previously reported 2: there is a giant plot hole. Why, once following somebody else breadcrumbs to hunt down a sword, would the dragonborn then return to the place where the note was left? especially when no one was there the first time? there is absolutely no reason to go back to the cave what so ever, and i was surprised when the quest objective updated to do so. makes zero sense. also, if he was trying to trap me for the sword and didnt have it, why would he set up the 3 atronach trap in the cave when i need the stahlrim dagger there just to get the sword in the first place?! wouldnt he make sure i leave with it?
The quest wanted me to use Krahvalok to summon and defeat a Frost Monarch. I went and retrieved the sword before attempting this. But apparently I failed that optional objective now? Did I miss out on anything by not being able to do this?
More than that, after years of humming and hawing over tens of thousands (hundreds of thousands?) of sword concepts/ particular design choices, I say this is one of the world's coolest swords [forgive the pun]. i mean it; not the world of skyrim or video games: the world.
it really is beautiful; the kind of thing that needs to belong to an iconic character...quickly -- somebody whip up a fitting persona (with wide-spread success) and arm them with the conceptual equivalent of this blade [it's easy; what are you waiting for?]
this is one of the best sword designs in human history
[oh, and the mod as a whole is quite good. it's very 'belonging' to Elder Scrolls.] even though much shorter and less elaborate, i consider the quest as good (in terms of feel and presentation) as things like IDENTITY CRISIS or WRYMSTOOTH [2 of the few Quest Mods I was truly glad to have played].
last thing (i swear)...I'm glad this ranks highly on most downloaded / endorsed weapons on Nexus, but something is way off. not that most of the weapons there aren't fantastic -- this not being in the top 5 is bunk [Project Flintlock ? TERA Weapons ? you people are dolts].
