I'm not sure this is even looked at anymore, but LOOT is telling me that "FemaleBriarHearts.esp" is required. I'm not fond of that mod, so I want to ask: why is it required?
EDIT: My mistake, the mod came with two ESP files; I disabled the FBH one.
I ran into my first forsworn boss wearing one of the new skull helmets, and it had the dreaded neon purple texture. I looked in the mod archive and it appears the textures were not included.
I'm curious how this works "under the hood." Did you add these to leveled lists, outfits, NPC edits? I like the idea but I'd like to know how it might interact with other Forsworn mods.
edits the levelled lists of helmets forsworn use, no npcs edits the forsworn headdress to split it to 2 models what are you concerned with which this will conflict?
I was largely interested in how it might mix with my own mod, which edits a few Forsworn NPC's and adds a new outfit. It sounds like there isn't a lot of overlap in terms of how they function, so it should be compatible. My edited NPC's might not wear the new headdress style, but that's not a big deal to me.
I will try this out!
Edit: Actually the way they mix IS a bit weird. The male version of the headdress seems to be the default now for any female Forsworn who's wearing the original vanilla item (non-randomized) which means ALL of my edited female NPC's will wear the male headgear. This will actually affect a character in another of my mods too. I like the original female headgear design better than the male one in general, and I'm kind of wishing that was the new default look for the vanilla item. I do like the idea of mixing them up and giving the randomized enemies different designs, but the structure of this mod sort of disrupts some deliberate outfit choices I've made.
I'm not sure if anybody else would share my concerns here. It's really a matter of personal taste. I think I'll just edit it myself and switch the models around.
I found your mods due to your comments and quite enjoy them. I did not realize briarheart does not use the same helmet as bosses (LItemForswornBossHelmet). In the vanilla game, the result is the same. I will make a version that gives the variety to the briarhearts as well as an optional esp for your mod (which reverts the change to your follower). Thank you for catching this.
I ended up doing what I said and just swapping the models between male and female headgear in your mod. I was going to put out an update for my Briarheart mod soon, and I'll try to make sure they're set to use leveled headgear instead of a specific piece.
This is a pretty cool mod so far, but I've only ever seen the two vanilla helmets and the un-horned deer skull. Are the other skulls in yet, are they leveled, or is something wrong?

Yipes! I don't know which ESP does what? One needs female briarhearts. I have that mod. So I'm fine there.
But the other two?
EDIT:
Using TES5Edit, It looks like I'm supposed to pick just one ESP to use?
MORE EDIT:
Ha! Found a ReadMe in the ZIP. Pick only one ESP. Choose wisely.
Even more edit:
My Female Briarhearts is a different version that the one this patch was made for. So I'll just ditch using Female Briarhearts.
