I've become unable to play skyrim without the textures provided for whiterun. i LOVE the whiterun roads in this pack. 10/10 downloaded originally in SSE, when i switched over to Oldrim i immediately searched for your textures.
you have a few of the impchandelier meshes that have the chain nodes pointing to a color map called impchain01 and an environment map, impchain_m .. these textures do not exist in any of your files, the vanilla files, or any of the requirement files. the normal map is imperialwallsconce, which does exist, so no problem there.. but of course the chains of these chandeliers are rendered purple in game.
i believe that imchandeliercandle01 is mapped to some of the smim texture paths, and i think it is correct. but the imchandeliercandle02 and imchandeliercandle03.. and perhaps some others, need to be looked at.
For imchandeliercandle02 & imchandeliercandle03 purple chain. Load respective nif into NifScope. Find and expand the BSShaderTextureSet for the chains. (46 for imchandeliercandle02 & 34 for imchandeliercandle03)
This causes my apples to turn as large as grapefruit, I don't know quite what's happening here. I use Realistic HD Food, and although the shine on the apples is great the scale puts me off just a bit!
This mod messes up with the chandelier chains that can be found in Dawnguard castle, turns them purple, any quick workaround for this? Guess I'll try the standard SMIM chains for now instead.
What Noble furniture textures are supposed to go with these? I see your modded noble modded shelves, those aren't SMIM or Realistic HD mods textures. I've tried a handful of the ones on the nexus, I can tell the cubemaps don't line up with any of them.
I tried HD Noble Furniture by Arcanesix, but the benches the cube maps have these little metal bolts, and they don't line up with the cube map.
Would be nice to know, guess ill just hide the furniture cube maps in the mean time.
EDIT: seems like the furniture pack by Langley matched some the cubemaps for furniture you made. Might want to tag that in the mod description that his textures are required for your benches and tables with the rows of metal bolts.
Just for cleering things up. You mean the environmentmaps, not the Cubemaps. If there aren't environmentmaps, the engine uses the specular map, which works out fine most of the time. Thanks for the info, langley has some great stuff. I have upgraded some of his stuff nowadays, also with better normal maps, maybe I make a mod out of it with his permission one day.

Then change
textures\clutter\imperial\impchain01.dds -> textures\smim\clutter\imperial\smim_imperial_chains.dds
textures\clutter\imperial\imperialwallsconce01_n.dds -> textures\smim\clutter\imperial\smim_imperial_chains_n.dds
textures\clutter\imperial\impchain01_m.dds -> textures\smim\clutter\imperial\smim_imperial_chains_m.dds
Save and bobs your wotsit. (Works for me).
Edit: Fixed with the instructions posted below by spoonsinger
