Wanaming0 gave me permission to edit this mod page. So I will attempt to update some/most/all of the patches contained here. However, it won't be quick by any means. If anyone would like to contribute to the updates, feel free to contact me.
The first of the updates is up in the form of the CACO - iNeed patch.
So, while in the process of discovering both Tes5edit and Nifskope, I went spelunking through CACO and started experimenting. I am sort of working on a (personal at this stage) CACO expansion/teaching myself how to use both programs, but I got distracted "fixing" the Vigor-CACO patch. It is to my personal taste - and is my very first complete attempt at a mod - but it doesn't crash the game and returns no errors in Tes5edit.
The modifications to Vigor via CACO are:
Clean bandages use the CACO clean bandage roll nif
Dirty bandages use the CACO bloody bandages nif
Poultices use the CACO first aid nif
There are 3 poultice recipes:
Distilled Alcohol & Animal Tallow ~ Ethanol and Glycerol, basically, which is hand sanitizer
Blisterwort and Penicillin (with variations for CACO breads) ~ Basic fungal antibiotics
Aloe, Honey and Fennel ~ Antiseptic burn cream
Of course, they all make the generic "poultice", but it still makes some sense in terms of flavour. They also all use Blue Mountain Flower because I can't get the 'Blue Mountain Flower has healing properties' from the base-game version out of my head, possibly because that's what Orgnar tells you to use in a healing potion if you ask about alchemy in the Sleeping Giant?
All CACO physician item recipes have been deleted or completely replaced.
Bandages are constructed as normal,
Poultices can only be constructed at the retort
Clean dirty bandages with distilled alcohol has been properly keyed in
Items have been given keywords that line up with the rest of CACO and match CACO's Physician objects in terms of keywords and adding to the leveled lists (I think?)
That's it.
Like I said, first attempt, and it is a modified version of the original patch, but I suddenly noticed you'd be interested in a rebuilt version and I just happen to have one.
Thanks for the patches, and sorry for my english. I have a question about the patch for Ineed, why does it add 3 additional menus in alchemy, two of them are not active?
I'm having huge issues crafting anything related to Undeath while using the patch for it. Almost all of the alchemy components have duplicates which makes it impossible to make the key items outside of using the console to get the correct duplicate.
The patch does not add copies of the ingredients, but overrides the existing ones. Your problem is most probably not caused by the patch, but let's try to troubleshoot the issue. Could you show me a screenshot of TES5Edit of one of the ingredients you've seen duplicated? Because I've never seen that bug in my end.
Hi Spacegorillas, So I've tweaked your Immersive Creatures patch last night for my personal use in order to work with CACO 2.0Beta. Does this patch remove the troll's blood potions from Hunterborn? I can't make the Deadly Poison in the cooking pot anymore, and Deadly Poison isn't in my game at all if I check via console. Also can't combine the various venoms into stronger concentrations, or use the mild acid for Foraging. Again this is all with Hunterborn.

Well, the iNeed patch is updated. I'll try to update the others slowly.
When I select the follower to use the alchemy lab, it prompts CACO, then the pc uses it, instead of the npc.
So I've tweaked your Immersive Creatures patch last night for my personal use in order to work with CACO 2.0Beta. Thought someone would be interested in trying it out:)
