Is it in anyway possible to make an "everyone except player dies" version? I'm trying to make a death alternative work and my character keeps dying instead of going into bleedout :(
UPDATE: For Brynjolf you have to delete the 'Invulnerable' flag from his NPC record, and then the setting will work!
I tested it, and also a new SKSE mod for SSE which enables that, but you can't for example kill Brynjolf with that ini setting. So if you want to take the quest to join Thieves Guild and kill them all, you can't. I'm pretty sure only this mod enabled true killing no matter what (just had to be careful to disable it when dealing with Alduin or scripted quest like Molag Bal one).

can you make an optional file excluding the player, that's the only reason i cant use this mod, because i use death alternative mod, and player must run in bleedout stae, thanks!
I second this request! This mod was a must-have for roleplaying in oldrim and I really miss it in SSE.
Of course you can still add the following lines to your ini files to disable "essential" status (but for some reason it won't work anymore for me since I reinstalled SSE):

This mod is really good for role-playing

It should work the same, except for children.

It would be better if the mod shows message after killing an essential npc.
Just like Morrowind !
