Hey Turija. Sorry for asking that late, but is your mod compatible with the newest BtC (1.9)? I can't think of any incompatibilities but you are the author so you certainly know better than me I can't think of any issues as you don't change the perk tree but just to be sure. Thx a lot for your work again.
In addition to perk tree changes, the latest edition of BtC re-balances the various stats for the various types of armor in the game, so it would not be compatible with Medium Armor. There really would not be an easy way to make a compatibility patch since the BtC edits to the armor stats are an intentional part of BtC and cover all armors, not just the few edited by this mod. So, any tweaking of BtC's changes to armors would need to be BtC specific to maintain balance with the changes BtC makes. I am not really familiar enough with all of the changes BtC makes to attempt to rebalance BtC to introduce a Medium Armor concept, but from what I have read about BtC, Zeromorph nay have already done this to some extent as part of BtC.
Dragonborn is now required with version 1.1.If anyone who uploaded version 1.0 doesn't have Dragonborn, let me know and I can upload an optional version that has the version 1.1 bugfixes without the Dragonborn requirement.
While I love seeing concepts from old Morrowind being added, this doesn't really seem like a Medium Armor mod. Not trying to be mean, but this isn't really any different from any other light and heavy armor tweak mod.
Well feel free not to use it then. I would add that, as mentioned in the description, it was designed to work with Requiem. In Requiem, weight of armor affects stamina depletion with movement. Stamina affects all sorts of things like damage, casting costs, chance to be disarmed, movement speed, etc. Weight also affects casting cost penalties of wearing armor directly. If you like Morrowind, you might want to take a look at Requiem.
Anyway, with Requiem, this mod does bring back the concept of medium armor because of the importance of weight. It makes a significant difference in gameplay. There were no perk trees in Morrowind so I don't think you need a new perk tree just to have the concept of Medium armor.
I only released a vanilla version as a courtesy to people who might not want to use Requiem. So, as I said, feel free not to use it if it is not something you are interested in using.
Scale armor still benefits from the light perk tree and Orcish still benefits from heavy. So there is one "light" perk medium armor and one "heavy" perk medium armor. I did this for compatibility and simplicity, since if you want to create a new perk tree, you need to either remove and replace an existing tree or do a scripted workaround like what Chesko did for Campfire/Frostfall.

Thank you!
