- Armours and clothes are now separated from the main file.
- Added some other stuff: more paintings, more funiture, shop signs and more.
- The chandelier was missing the collision. Now it's fixed.
Not much more left to convert. I will add facemodels in the future. Remember to endorse and credit me. Enjoy!
NOTE: Trees, flora, furs, tents and ships are either not convertible or the converter won't let me export them. Architecture looks horrible when imported to Skyrim because TW3 uses a completely different lightning system that makes them look good...so yeah, not gonna bother unless you want some flat house that looks ripped from a 2005's game.
Please help me, I've installed this fashion but I don't see any new things from the witch doctor, I've installed the fashion through NMM and it hasn't changed anything, how can I put things from fashion into the game?
I'm working on my first mod, and have used some other modder's resource meshes before these.
However I keep getting the big red exclamation mark icon instead of the meshes.... This happened once before when the path to the meshes wasn't correct, though that doesn't seem to be the case here?
I've read through the other comments and some other people might have asked about this but I couldn't understand all of it.... Can someone please help me? I'd love to be able to use these meshes! --- EDIT: I managed to get the meshes to work, by restarting the creation kit and importing the meshes again. However, now the shapes are present but the textures seem to be missing, everything looks a flat blueish colour? So... I still need help ? --- EDIT 2 : manually importing the textures by overriding duplicates of the "nulltextureset", and then setting them for individual items worked for some of them. However, there seem to be some textures missing, or wrongly named? A short list of the textures certain items (I've only tried the beds so far) were looking for, and were not included in the mod:
ob_beddouble.001 (one of the beds that had this as its default texture actually worked with the textured that were labelled as ob_beddouble.003) Circle.006 CheydinhalGarden0 CheydinhalGarden0.005 Villal_Bench01:1 Villal_Bench01:2
I tried googling the texture names to see if maybe I was missing certain vanilla skyrim textures or perhaps another mod or resource was needed. I saw some Oblivion mods linked to cheydinhal garden, but those seemed unrelated.... --- EDIT 3: I fixed it... I had placed the textures in this path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\textures\furniture while it should have been this path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\textures\lor\custom\furniture As soon as I moved them to the correct path the textures appeared in the CK.
I'll be leaving this comment with my stumbling here so it might help any other noobs struggling with the same problem. Anyway, thanks LorSakyamuni for the awesome resource!
A great resource, thank you! Where can I find a tutorial on making beds playable? I can add a furniture marker in NifScope, yet I have no idea what to do next and see no changes...
It means the clothing can't be worn. Clothing, armor, shields, hair; anything that displays on your character except weapons needs to be rigged to your character's skeleton via a process called weight-painting so that it moves with the character. Without that, you wind up with an unmoving outfit in a t-pose at the bottom of your characters feet, with no body.
Awkward.
Unfortunately, rigging things is a colossal pain in the rump.
