So I'm having issues where NPCs I outfit with this (I only do unique ones, Brynjolf, for example) will wear what I give them only temporarily. Sometimes, after switching back to their original armor, they won't wear what I give them anymore, and I have to take it from their inventory via follower dialogue. If I do that and then dismiss them, next time I show up they might be butt naked, lol. OCCASIONALLY, they will respawn their default armor despite being unique. I have like 3 sets of Bryn's leader armor from it randomly reappearing on him.
I wonder if the issue could be due to how the NPCs are handled by mods (either ones that alter vanilla NPCs, or add some new NPCs that have given me trouble), so I'm wondering if there's a way to completely reset this mod's management of troublesome NPCs? I'll look through the description again, but I don't remember seeing a way to reset...
I dunno who are you, sir but please have my babies with you. No, really. This is really good mod to change outfit for your follower (I don't really care about random NPC lol only care about my followers) and they keep wearing that outfit even if you uninstall the mod lol my only issue is lack of any option to revert back NPC default costume so probably its best to keep their default outfit save somewhere in chest to return back when you're uninstalling the mod. I haven't tried Flywolf version but hopefully SE port went smoothly.
great mod, but im having this issue where if i put 3 pieces of armor removes the last two... i mean cuirass, gauntlets and boots... everything else is fine, cloaks hoods whatnot... i can put the cuirass... the gauntlets, but if i put the boots... or in any order, removes the last two.... anyone else having this? (removes as deleting them from the inventory)
Some people seem to have this issue and I'm not entirely certain why. Seems likely AFT is the culprit. Perhaps another follower or outfit mod is colflicting. Try equipping the cuirass last
hello! i dl'ed this port (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16194?tab=description) of this mod for SE, but I'm running into an error and figured i might post it here since it may happen in either version (or possiblely the error message might be in both and thus i can be led in the right direction for finding the solution to it) essentially, when i was running around trying to dress npcs, i tried to dress maven black-briar and instead of the window popping up she just sort of froze there in her animation and nothing happened. the only way out of the dialog was to hit esc, and now whenever i attempt to dress a different npc i just get a popup saying "Error: NPC is already being managed"
i'm hoping for some help because this mod is absolutely wonderful and I'd really like to continue redressing the npcs OTL
I'm getting this same error (and I think it's after trying to outfit Maven, too, even though I've done so in other savegames before), and not in SE, just in this LE version. I reloaded saves, I uninstalled and re-installed the mod itself, and nothing is fixing it for me either.
Has anyone encountered this or solved it yet? Anyone? I've been having a blast with this mod and I'd hate to lose my ability to make Nazeem walk around in a Santa hat and beggar's trousers. (Uh, and to give followers/housecarls/spouses better clothes/gear.)
EDIT: Can confirm this is due to trying to outfit Maven Blackbriar. When I went waaaay back and loaded a save from before I tried, the mod worked properly. If I tried to reload a more current save, it gave me the "NPC is already being managed" error again.
Will this mod work with Hearthfire bards? I may install this regardless since DUYF seems to be gone, but I wanted to ask anyway. Llewellyn got a mod outfit I don't really like, so I want to change him into something I DO like since he'll be living with me, but DUYF doesn't give me the option. Someone suggested I try this mod so I'm hoping it will let me be able to give my bard a nicer outfit than he currently has.
Are there any know conflicts with other dress up mods? I have the one that lets you dress up your spouse and I definitely don't want to get rid of that one.
No - well, kind of - check the sticky on my conversion's page. Bathing beauties and beefcake might have a redressing issue but I don't use it so can't say, though I haven't had any redressing issues with any of the pools in my game that have the same feature. Also if you use Simple NPC Outfit Manager be sure to place ONPCs lower in your load order.

P.S. Not sure if the creator is still working on this mod. Y_Y
