Version 2.3 Released! - Tweaked formlists so vampire clothes/armor should be applied properly; especially on Nightlord Vampires - Edited the "Original Outfits" patch so it's formlists for armor will be consistently applied.

Probably best to use a new version on a new save.
If updating mid-playthrough: - Go to a secluded interior with a bed. - Make a new save - Exit game - Remove old version of BVNPCs - Install new version of BVNPCs - Load save from above - Sleep for 30 days to ensure every cell resets or use console command: setpcsleephours 720 We need the cells to be reset. However ... you could just delete the old, and then install the new, but you won't see vampire changes unless you enter an area you haven't been to before or a cell resets normally (you don't visit it for 30 in game days).
NOTE: Vampires in this mod are leveled. The leveled lists have had the level numbers altered, but they still spawn depending on the character level. HOWEVER ... some vampires in Skyrim are not placed as a leveled actor. Some NPCs are placed as a specific level that is not reflective of your level. I did not do this - that is from the vanilla game.
Hi Brehanin, I have been enjoying the mods you created a lot, especially this one that gives vampires a good upgrade and I definitely love the turning to ash part as well, but I think the recent update had caused a glitch where the coldharbour armor and robes is now invisible. Also vampires, both players and npcs, no longer turn to ash when killed. I am not sure if this for all platforms but I know its affecting the xbox version.
I have been checking my mods for conflicts but so far nothing changes even when I disable others. From what I have seen from some comments, it may be the recent update.
hello Brehanin there seems to be a problem with my BVNPC.I am playing on xbox and i never had this problem before with your mod but i dont get the blood gem when i start the game and vampires dont drop bloodgems and if i craft one and crouch is still doesnt let me modified it it just says this item cannot be equipt like it does for a normal misc item. This happend after this last update so i was wondering did something break for xbox on this mod or is it a bug or am i the only one having this problem right now?
Is the coldharbour armor invisible for you? And does vampires not turn to ash?
The reason I ask is that I have an issue too which may be to due with the recent update, which I have already posted but it would be good if we can all find the common issues to better get to the root of the issue. I don't know if I am having bloodgem issues, where do you go to select them. I know I can refine them into bloodglass ingots.
If I can't use the bloodgems then that means there is a common issue.
I'll have to check. Maybe meshes were missing when uploaded? Not sure.
EDIT: Seems to be a problem with the Original Outfits optional file? I tried with my LE and LE NAC versions and outfits and turning to ash worked. With that patch, ash still worked and outfits were absent >< Still working
I missed that you are playing on Xbox. Sorry but I don't even own one >< I never changed the bloodgem so I cannot be sure. Maybe an error when packaging it?
question, with certain mods installed the blood gem that this mod provides at the start is doubled. alternative start use but by itself it does not cause the gem to be duplicated, I tried to use the aetherius overhaul races mods but it duplicated the gem, as far as it could be an error or conflict and I do not start the game because there will not be much more conflicts forward. Does anyone know what happened?
I don't use "alternative start" but did have this issue when attempting to upgrade from 2.0 to 2.2. I ended up starting a new game because of glitch with the setpcsleephours 720 but noticed I had 11 blood gems in my inventory. Upgraded both BV and BVNPC + New Game and only have 1 now.
Following the instructions for updating from 2.0 to 2.2 would using the setpcsleephours 720 command to reset the 30 days for the cells kill my character if I'm already playing as a vampire? (thinking Starvation) Can this update be done without the whole curing and reinfect process?
EDIT: Disregard this post please. Had to start a new game as updating using the method listed in Brehanin'd post caused a glitch on the save file when using the setpcsleephours 720 command. (Screen Flashing back and forth like the ENB was turning on/off and my character being stuck in place unable to move in any direction).
Nov. 10 I re-uploaded the original outfits patch. A couple were missed. Nov. 12 Original outfits are now levelled and become more powerful at levels 10, 25, 40, 60, 80+
Any chance of us getting a Lite version of this that just overhauls combat type? It's really boring fighting vampires that only go one handed or one handed with magic in the other hand. It'd be nice to have some that duel wield, use bows or axes or greatswords.

It doesn't work in Skyrim SSE 16640, right?
I'd keep the other or sell it.

Why are you using console command anyway ? for what reason ?
