I have added a 7bit font back, all fonts have been updated too awesome fonts
Menus, Dialog,System, Books, Handwritting are now 7bits pixelie fronts circa 1984~ or older.
Elfish, Falmur, Dragon, Magic scripts have been updated to be over 9000!

This is a total conversion of all textures into TANDY-1000 Color, aka TGA graphics!
Do you crave the mystic of a CGA game like monkey isl? or Loom?
Ever wanted to join the CGA jam on io? I did but this idea took to long and skyrim has too much clutter sitting on top brown tables for cga to really work and so I decided to make Skyrim like it's 1984 with old 16 color graphics. (I also plan in the future to make some retro fonts and chip-tunes.)

Requirements: NONE, works with Skyrim vanilla, DLC, or legendary that comes packed with dlc  

Notes:
"textures\actors\character" is not included in my mod make sure to copy yours back in no doubt there will be a textures\actors\character for the many skin mods and new bodies mods. 

Instructions:
1: Download manually or with NMM (201mb)
1: For the love of Freya rename your "Skyrim\Data\textures" folder to textures.bka
2: unzip the mod into "Skyrim\Data\"  this will create a NEW  "textures" folder with all the textures in their respective folders, (764mb)
3: Either play as is, test it, or copy from your old textures.bka any other mod's folders into the the "textures" folder got it?, specifically look for "texturesbka\actors\character".


Deep Notes:
Most textures are 256x256 in keeping with the 1984 theme, I merged Vanilla Reduced Textures 256 Legendary mod( thanks to alt3rn1ty) with skyrim legendary's unpacked bsa to have a complete selection of ALL textures. (deleting the normal-maps)
I've left my python files, batch files and crunch (zlib) for modders to preen and use in their mods. Basically there is a readme that explains it all.
I used Python2.7 with numby, Pillow-4.1.1, cdecimal, and colorsys.
The process was very complex to conceive from scratch. Convert dds into HSL color space then decided what colors to make each pixel based on it's color and saturation and lux. Basically  to more effectively use the 4 white grey darkgrey and black for greater dynamic contrast I devised a smooth curved-conical transition to these four non-colors, so that washout original colors (either to little saturation or lumance )would not become a normal color that is of course full saturation being there are only 12 actual colors, 6 high and 6 low.
Further more I used two other forms such as straight cone, and just a rod down the center of the HSL color space which it self is represented as a big cylinder. Hue is degrees about the circumference, saturation is distance from the center and lux is up and down.   Got it?
