   So the journal appears in my Misc. inventory, but I have no idea how to actually use it. It just sits there. If I click on it I get the "You cannot equip this item" message. There's nothing in the MCM menu and it doesn't matter how long I play the game for, I can't seem to get it working at all.
   
   Any ideas?

   I have a suggestion, could we have a way for the journal to stay in my item list like a quest item ?

      Hello, it already is. It's a miscellaneous item that's marked as a quest item.
      I believe that's how it's set up.

   This is a pretty interesting concept. I would personally change the notification to first person like "I should update my journal and reflect on my experiences"
