I committed to a year of improvement work when I launched the mod and that year has now passed. I’ve therefore decided to stop working on this project and the latest version will likely be the last one I upload.
Thank you so much for your support and patience over this past year. Your contributions were what made this mod project go as far as it has
Can a modder make a fix to this mod? It's a pain that every time you sneak-attack an enemy, you get listed for another assault. Hard to build a positive reputation when you have 300+ assaults!
Especially when there is a mod-added animal that also gets listed as an assault.
Keep in mind it might be a conflict. I'm running SkyRe and all sorts of mods. I'd say you should give it a try and let everyone know if it does the same thing for you.
Having an odd issue. The spell effect that shows your title/rep doesn't show anymore in the magic effects list in my game. Everything else in the mod seems to work fine, and did up until recently. I haven't added anything new to the game other than a retexture so I have no idea why it busted. A redownload/BSA replacement of SkyRep didn't do anything. Reinstallation + script cleaning didn't do anything for existing games, and the spells simply don't show at all if I start a new game, before or after leaving Helgen and/or reading the rep note. Talking to Erikur and messing around also doesn't activate anything. The same problem is there when starting a new game without the mod active then activating it later after a save. Manually adding the spell(s) via console doesn't make them show either, though I know you can change your title that way (I tried before for fun in a test file). Has anyone had this issue and, if so, was it some other mod is overriding Reputation's adding the rep effect to the magic list?
Otherwise, very fun mod. Haven't had any problems up until now and the dialogue and everything work great. Endorsed this ages ago.
EDIT: Okay, it's not any one mod in my order. I think it has to do with the way scripts load into the game, new games especially. There's also a quirk with at least one thing in my load order that causes a new save on a new load, which I THINK interrupts the Rep function that adds the reputation spell to the spellbook. Maybe it's game function or a thing with MO2 that makes a new save if you activate a whole bunch of mods at once since I can often bypass the issue by activating mods in groups of ~5 and, if the save thing triggers (it's not a quick/autosave), go back and activate them one at a time instead. I'll be screwing around with this more depending on annoyance levels.
Is this mod safe to use?, i see a lot of stuff in the bugs section that has not been answered to!?
So i started a new game and when i came to Whiterun the smith "Adrianne Avenicci" and 1 guard did greet me with "Glad to see you my thane", is it possible to fix so that they only say "thane" stuff when you actually has become a thane?
I have your mod second last in the load order, the only one that's loads after your mod is "Skyrim Unbound Reborn LE v1.8.4".
Thanks did not noticed that when it was hidden like it is, still there is a lot of issues in the bug section that did make me uninstall the mod and start over before i got to far in the game!
Did try it out again and i did change the setting in MCM menu, it fixes most of the issues but if you bump in to a guard they step back and say "Excuse me my thane".
I don't think that's a bug, I had the same thing happen when my lawfulness and crime or good vs bad reputation percents were relatively even. If you look in your active effects there will be a more specific title there for how people view you, when I was neutral I had chaotic and eventually unruly.
Yea think so now too. I guess cause of my need to do all quests i helped too much people. But i did a bit of necromany in cities, which i never did cause why.. but this done it, Im disliked lol
But i still cant help but wonder, Ive read while shearching for a "solution", that people have after doing the darkbrotherhood and a few evil daedric quests the baddest reputation ever and cant seem to change it. And here I have to do my best to even become disliked. And Im listener, done almost every daedric quest and went on a murder spree to test this mod. But its fine
The daedric quests often don't give you lots of points because some are considered a 'grey area' (Azura) and a lot of them involve you killing daedra, which ends up giving you aedric points again, for example Azura, Mehrunes, the blackbooks. The funny thing is you hardly ever run into Daedra to kill outside of the daedric quests. Or doing almost anything involves going into crypts etc so you end up killing undead and gaining aedric points passively.
That said my Azuran Flame atronach/mage roleplay did eventually get "Ravager" which I think was a combo of Daedric and murdering, however I didn't go out of my way to murder anyone significant. It was hard to ever get a high level of powerseeking. My current playthrough as a spriggan assassin I had 95% aedric, 80% criminal and came out as unruly 2/4, but recently the criminal has dropped to about 66% despite me not letting up on brotherhood contracts and killing any hunter npcs I come across. I loaded an old Paladin save and as the rep was calculated it made its way through about 3 different titles: Generic hero, then something to do with clearing undead and finally settling on manslayer which was a bit of a let down.
A similar thing happens to me: Although I fight bandits and don't get involved with daedras (I've killed Eola), TG and DB, I'm still stick to the unruly fame thanks to a guard onslaught I've driven in Markarth by refusing to go to Cidha mine lol. Had to break through the city, even though I play as a justiciar and law bringer character, those corrupted mfs will never take me alive!
I think this mod is the source why my char is being randomly attacked... Not sure yet, still finding my culprits... But what did she do? Nothing, actually. Just a hunter living out her life in the wilds, but skyrim being an unfinished game that it is, my char. is ridiculously rich.No dungeon delving, just simply hunting animals & sell the meat & some other stuff (yes, with mods like deers & pheasants & whatever that made hunting a feature).
I see there is a FOMOD folder in the file-tree but it doesn't open when installing. Anyone else figured out how to make this work or is the FOMOD not needed?
It's abandoned, but a gem forever. Yet I would suggest to enhance the already great functionality of this mod with a patch, that adds good (and bad) moral points by praying/worhshipping/meditating by the mod "religion". These both mods could work together. Though i am planning on of taking the risk to uninstall religion for the sake of Wintersun - faiths od Skyrim, so that i can use the patch.

My fame is 4/4 but im still neutral/unknown? Is that possible?
