Isle of Artaeum - Season 2: Auridon

The Psijics of Artaeum are a very secretive and exclusive group. They left Tamriel hundreds of years ago, when something instilled fear in the Psijic Council, but now they've found a motivation to return to the fatherland, Skyrim.
Luckily for you this gives you the opportunity to visit their homeland and see how these powerful sorceresses are living.
Introducing the completed storylines of the legend of Magnus, unraveling the mystery behind the legendary artifact in three uniqe endings.

But that's not all. Season 2 also brings Isle of Artaeum to whole new level, with a brand new questline. Introducing an old enemy of the Psijics, dating back to the second era, you will be asked to aid them in their quarrel. Of course they will also show their appreciation for your assistance, making it well worth your while with features like spirit-horses, new player-houses and a whole bunch of followers, depending on how you play.

Adding reinforcements to the Psijic Order, you will in time be given the opportunity to study as they did, at the most esteemed magical school in Mundus; Auridon Academy. The Academy comes with over three dozen new spells, and a curriculum for each school of magic. Finally you will be able to study the arts, and learn all you need in the process.
Welcome to Auridon Academy. Where masters of magic are made.

FAQ:

Q: How do I get to Artaeum?
A: Complete College of Winterhold-questline, and then go to Winterhold Town.
(Debug:Travel to the rowboat, east of Solitude Docks, and pull the lever.)

Q: Do I need to play season 1, first?
A: This file is developed with both seasons in one .esp. In other words; Both seasons are included.

Q: Can I update, without losing my progress?
A: Of course! Keep an eye on file details, though.

Q: What happens if I pull the lever without completing CoW questline?
A: You will break the story immersion, above all, and you might need to use console at some point.

Q: Are there voiced lines?
A: Yes! Though not all, so I recommend playing with subtitles turned on!

Q: How do I enroll in the Academy?
A: Once you get to Auridon Sarah will take you on a tour. She will show you where to go!

Q: How do I get access to the new spells?
A: Most are sold by the librarian at the Academy, after you've completed the first class.
Though some are obtained via completing quests.

Q: So what does this mod actually hold? The trailer looks kind of shitty...
A: I know the trailer is kind of badly cut. But that's because I'm a nerd, not a film-student!
As for the actual content, it's hard to list without giving spoilers but here it goes:
* Several dozen hours of quests.
* A handful of followers.
* About 40+ new spells.
* New areas to explore, and vanquish.
* Several merchants, with unique items.
* Player-houses, to choose depending on style.
* A proper school of magic (with actual f-ing classes).
* Special kind of horse-y.
* A bathhouse. Smelling nice always makes you more popular ;).
* Endless libraries with every book in Skyrim.
* An answer to the Magnus mystery.
+ some other stuff that I probably forgot I ever made...

Q: Do my choices matter?
A: Yes! Quite heavily. This is supposed to be a story-driven mod. If you are of low patience,
or just want to bash everyone who speaks for more than one minute, then this is probably
not the right mod for you.
Your choices will stretch over the seasons, having consequences that might not have been
foreseeable. So make sure that you're ready to undertake this adventure.

Q: Will there be a season 3?
A: Yes. The third season is just about ready. I recently started studying at uni, so I work in this whenever I can, but I want to make sure that everything gets a nice finish to it. Keep checking in! :)

Q: Can you change the weather at Auridon?
A: I personally always loved the rain, so I didn't see this as a problem.
But I've heard you, and the islands are known to shift... That's all I'm gonna say ;).

Q: I have an idea for season 3, what do I do with it?
A: Send me a message here on Nexus, or post in the comments section. I check in every so often.

Q: I don't have the DLC's and/or Unofficial Patch, what do I do?

A: Download v. 1.4.5, for now. But I recommend getting the DLC's for season 3.
