About this mod
Smash objects to pieces and watch the physics enabled debris fly everywhere. Be careful in taverns or shops though as the guards won't take kindly to such reckless destruction. This is a small sample of what is to come for testing purposes.

What is currently affected:
Barrels including storage ones.
All standard chairs.
Many nordic ruins pots and urns.
Some tables.
Some breakable booshelfs.
Added havok physics to most static items that sit on top of tables and other surfaces.
You will get a bounty if it is in places like shops, taverns and people's homes. Items inside containers will spill out onto the ground. The destroyed objects will be returned to their default undamaged condition after 24 in game hours and any loot from damaged containers will be reset so be sure to grab anything important straight away.
Please report any problems and let me know how game performance is affected. Many new objects and features will be added.
FAQ:
Is this mod script heavy?
No. This mod primarily uses the destruction system that is already built into Skyrim and uses new destruction meshes that have physics enabled inside the model file (.nif).
Will this mod affect game performance?
On lower end computers with excessive breakage there may be an fps drop around a lot of broken items. This is due to the physics calculations and the added polys from the broken object meshes.
An object floats when I break X
Many objects in Skyrim are static meaning they aren't set to move. I have enabled havok physics on as many items as I can find but if you notice any floating let me know. Apart from stacked barrels. I already know about that.
When I destroy stacked barrels they don't fall down?
I know about this and I'm trying to find a solution.

Settings Menu
A new spell will be added to the player upon loading the game which allows you to bring up a menu to adjust settings for Destructible Skyrim. An MCM menu will also be added at a later date but this method works without SKSE and SkyUI. Here is an overview of the settings:
Enable/Disable Recieve Bounty - If you break something inside an owned property, shop or tavern then you will get a bounty by default if seen. This turns off that feature so you don't get in trouble for breaking stuff.
Enable/Disable Container Drop Items - By default containers you break will spill out their contents onto the ground but instead you can have the container just drop a satchel with all the items inside by disabling this.
Set Item Drop Limit - Suppose you put 1000 cabbages in a barrel. This will set how many of those items will actually be visibly dropped on breaking. Up to 10 will be shown by default and after this number they will be stacked together as one item. Lower this number for slower computers and less clutter. You can experiment with increasing but I wouldn't recommend going too high.
Set Object Reset Timer - This is how many hours it takes for an object to reset to its default undamaged state when broken. By default this is set to 24 hours. If you want objects to stay broken for a long time or you have a slower computer then you can change this.
Remove Spell - Removes this settings menu spell should you feel the need.
This is a really old video from 2015 to demonstrate what this mod can do. Note: a lot of these objects aren't part of this release since they were lost and I started from scratch.
