- 4 May 2024 - ABOUT THE FUTURE: I opened up a bit the permissions for this mod (please, check the dedicated section of the main page), the reason being I won't be able to keep developing and expanding this mod, unfortunately, due to RL basically. This doesn't mean I'll stop curating it or quit modding altogether, it simply means that I won't be able to dedicate to this project the time it deserves. In hope that the talented authors of this community will develop spiritual successors, I sincerely thank you for the love and support you demonstrated for this mod!
- 28 May 2023 - NEWS: VERSION 1.5! The update file is now in the fomod installer (sorry for the inconvenience). I fixed a bunch of wrong lip syncs for lines I added a few updates ago, please tell me if you see any more issues of this kind, so I can fix them! Everything else is in the changelog section. Enjoy!
- 22 October 2022 - BIG NEWS: VERSION 1.4! I'm excited to announce that More Dialogue Options has finally been updated to version 1.4! Please, tell me if you find any issues, it's been a while... I'm not done yet, mind you, there's still stuff I want to add in the future! Main features: installer with patches and no more need for a specific version for Misc Dialogue Edits 1.8, out now as well!
- 18 February 2021 - NEWS: female Cicero patch UPDATE! Female Cicero patch updated to change sound as well as subtitles: all dialogue options added by this mod now address Cicero as female both in text and in audio. It's intended to be used with Cicera - Female Cicero Dialogue Edit (thanks to the author, OregonPete, for providing some of the sound files for the patch), however the patch only depends on More Dialogue Options (and the patch in this page is not for Skyrim SE), so you can use it with whatever other female Cicero mod you desire.
Question for you--I merged this mod and your other Misc Dialogue Edits into a merged plugin.
With this new update, it makes it a bit harder to update the merged plugin (since I would need to make sure all the FormIDs are identical--is this a mod that is safe to "uninstall"?
As in can I just use xEdit to remove your mod records from the merged plugin so that I can just install this one to take its place?
Hi! Yeah, since I added quite a bit to both mods, you would need to double check all new dialogue records and make sure their IDs match their voice files. I don't think there's an automated way around that, but I haven't merged plugins in a while. They are fairly safe to uninstall. To be very safe, I would just make sure, in More Dialogue Options' case, that you're not uninstalling it while the quest Taking Care of Business is active.
Your mods are true hidden gems , sadly if we could clean up the hotfiles from all this bikini sh*t and cbbunp hdt stuff our gameplay could get much better...
Thank you, I really appreciate that! I hope I'll be able to update them more in 2021. Well, to each their own, plus you could consider those a testament to the amazing tools and creativity of Skyrim modders, who can achieve such varied results, from bikini mods to AI overhauls.
The problem I am having in any dialog box is, I click on the option I want and it picks the wrong option. Usually the one right above and it happens alot. Does your mod help with that? Or is there something I can do to fix this annoying problem.
Very annoying and I understand the lousy code bethesda never fixes always letting others do there dirty code work-arounds. You should be paid by Bethesda for modding their 15yr old engine and lame code? sorry, my bad for the editorial.
After talking to the Reveler group, two of them will walk down the road while the third stays behind and continues drinking. They all don't go down the road.
Do you mean "Why only have one bottle when you can have two?"? That's the only option that appears if you already have at least one bottle of Honningbrew Mead on you. If that is the case, then I'm afraid the issue isn't caused by this mod, because I don't edit that option nor the quest itself. Did you try the same thing without my mod installed? Uninstall my mod (and only my mod) just before talking to the Revelers and choose the same options as before. If the issue still appears, then it's caused by another mod. It could just be Skyrim, mind you: it can happen if the game has many things running and your PC isn't very powerful.
I'll take a look at that NPC and see if something is controlling him. Hard to tell with psc files what's happening. Could be Immersive World Encounters.
Hey friend, its me again! I just had an idea. So you know when you first encounter aela and the companions, and how she says you would make for a decent shield brother/sister? The only option you can say is "what is a shield brother?" But I was thinking, what if your character already knows what one is. Do you think it'd be possible to add another option somewhere along the lines of "You mean like a member of the companions? Do you think I could join?" then from that point on, string along the line where she says "it's not a decision for me to make."
Hi! Yeah, it would. The easiest way to do that would be to provide the vanilla dialogue option "Can I join?" at that point already and maybe add an opposite one like "Sorry, I don't care." to leave the conversation (the vanilla one "Sounds like a waste of time." wouldn't fit at that specific point).
Hey! I would just like to say that I really like this mod and I'm so glad you made it! there's actually quite a few places where I thought there should be more dialogue options, at least for roleplaying, even if they ultimately lead to the same answer. I'll keep in touch if I spot any
Edit: I just now remembered Galmar Stone-fist refers to all nord characters as outsiders when you tell him you want to join the stormcloaks. I'm assuming there's no way to cut this out so he just asks "why do you want to help us?" or something along the lines of that? It's really immersion breaking when I'm roleplaying a character who grew up in skyrim their whole life and he just calls them an outsider
Thank you! Feedback and suggestions are always appreciated, yes! I already fixed that, it will be in the next update of Misc Dialogue Edits (it's in that mod because it's literally a fix, no extra dialogue options).

And perfect! I haven't really done much in this playthrough yet, so everything works out. Thank you once again!

Did you exit dialogue before the end of the conversation?
If that is the case, then I'm afraid the issue isn't caused by this mod, because I don't edit that option nor the quest itself.

Did you end up fixing it?
Do you think this would be possible?
