Absolutely baffled by the idea that Karita is Kyne. The reason she's cagey about her identity is obvious: She's a Talos worshipper at a time when it's illegal. As evidenced by her amulet, and the books in her possession. If she was an aspect of a goddess, she'd surely have something to impart upon the LDB other than 'Yeah I heard the shout, no I'm not telling you who I am'. You don't even have a particular reason to talk to her other than the fact that you're passing by.
As for why she appears and disappears just for this quest: She's just there for flavour. She's an ordinary citizen who melts back into the background, or so Bethesda intended. I'm glad this mod exists so we can have a bit more of her.
It's a wonderful theory, but there's not 100% proof. And I doubt Bethesda would give complete answer, probably even laugh at the questioner and give vague response.
it would have been content that was never finished to be cut content. but the speculationist theory is what is in her inventory that sparks that she could be Kyne/Kynereth after all when you meet them in Skyrim you do not know it is TAlos, and a few others until afterwards when the imperial c ult tells you.
I assumed she stayed in the same place that you first met her. But if you met greybread before installing this she will already got deleted from the game, you will need to console her back first (step in description)
The one you brought back will get delete soon after, this mod will stop her from getting delete again
The game is specifically coded to delete her once the quest is over. There's some speculation, based on her name and role + her appearing in front of the Kyne tablet, that she's an avatar of Kyne, like Wulf and Ama Nin in Morrowind.
None of you seem to understand my question. I know she normally gets deleted, I’m saying where does she go with this mod installed? The other pilgrim that doesn’t get deleted in vanilla goes to the inn.
DEEJMASTER333 As I already said, I suspected she probably stay at the same place you originally found her, front of one of the tablet. The script just delete he but didn't move her. Though I don't lnow if the game automatically move deleted NPC to the hidden clean up cell or not. So you can check those tablet first
