So just to let everybody know, I'm going to be taking a nice long break from Skyrim, I got sick of spending more time chasing problems than playing the damn game so it's time to let it be for a while. Just letting everybody know since if my mods have any issues - they shouldn't, but you never know - it's unlikely I'll be able to address them in the near future. That being said, if it's something game-breaking and you just can't live without it for whatever reason, permissions to fix what needs fixing are open. That's all for now, and in the words of two great philosophers, be excellent to each other.
It's been so long since I looked at it I honestly forgot what it was set to. Not... entirely sure how I missed that, to be honest. Anyway it's fixed now and the rebalanced version will be available soon. Thanks for reporting!
Can there be a Light Armour version? I know it's a very weird request but I am a sucker for Light armour Warrior Mage builds (LA enchanted with Magic-related stuff+Bound Weapons) and because all the mods that add Armoured Robes to the game (at least from what I know) are Heavy Armour. I am not asking for like a seperate differently modelled one, just a version where all the Padded versions are Light. Though I have no idea what the B&B's armour system is, I think it's somewhat close to like Leather Armour? Would be a perfect Warrior Mage setup with bandit fur gauntlets, this and Sciencist's Diadem.
The intention of the mod is to give mages a light armor option that doesn't prevent them from benefitting from Alteration perks that require you to wear robes, so making them full Light Armor kind of defeats the purpose of the mod. That being said, if that's what you'd prefer I can tell you exactly how to make the change yourself: Open the mod in xEdit and find the Padded robe variants under the Armor category. Select the Padded robes and change the keywords ArmorClothing to ArmorLight, and ClothingBody to ArmorCuirass. That will make the robes full Light Armor so that they benefit from the Light Armor perks, just be aware that you will then lose benefits from Alteration perks that require wearing robes. You still won't be able to improve them at a workbench unless you add a recipe for it yourself though.
Expert/Master are "done", I just didn't include them. I'm not gonna pretend anything I did is impressive to anyone other than me, but the Expert/Master are just unacceptably bad, especially the female version. Unless I can fix them to at least be on par with what's already there, they most likely won't see the light of day. The Archmage robe I never touched other than to forward the changes from Circlets or Masks with all Robes and Hoods and have no intention to, there's too many mods that edit that record so it's too likely to break something I may not be able to fix.
My brother gave me a hand finishing up the UV remapping on the Expert/Master robes, the new update is live. I'm not promising miracles but it looks good enough for me to feel comfortable uploading it. I'm still not going to do the Archmage robes because I'm pretty confident it would cause more problems than it's worth, but the "basic" robes are all in now.
also it looks like the blue coloring of the stormcloak cuirass is visible in the padded robes? maybe youd conside rchanging the color of the back to to match the rest of the robe set
I can give flagging it a shot, I don't see why I couldn't.
As for the coloring, in order to get this to look right I actually had to repaint the UV mapping of the cuirass onto the robe tunic, what you're seeing is unfortunately the best I could do in terms of getting it to match up, which is why I specifically chose cuirasses with sashes that matched the robe as much as possible.
Hi there! I'm curious...Ordinator has a perk that gives an armor bonus when wearing robes. I found however that that bonus no longer applies to robes that have had a armor rating added in CK, because adding an armor rating requires flagging them as light or heavy armor instead of robe.
How did you implement the armor rating for the padded stuff?
Well, I make no guarantees about Ordinator since I don't personally use it, but for Vanilla and Simonrim at least the way I did it works. All I did was set armor type to Light but set the keyword as ArmorClothing rather than ArmorLight. Pretty much everything runs off of keywords, including perks, and so far it hasn't given me any trouble.
From what I've discovered since I started seriously playing around with the CK, it seems like any time you want certain effects to apply to something they normally don't apply to, changing keywords is the answer. Doesn't work for everything, but it works for a lot more than you'd think.

Any way to cut those numbers down? When the armor rating of robes blow away a lot of the Heavy Armor in the game it seems a bit op for my use.
Thanks!

BTW no Padded Expert/Master/Archmage robes?
