    This ENB is TOO dark!

I get it, it's not for everyone. The goal of the ENB is to allow creatures to appear to materialize out of the darkness.
This is calibrated with my laptop screen. While it isn't too dark for me, you may need to adjust as all monitors have their own brightness levels.
For the fastest way to lighten up the interiors do the following in-game:

    • Open the ENB menu (SHIFT + ENTER)
    • Expand ENBEFFECTS.FX menu in the middle section.
    • Play with the Nights and Interior Brightness values located at the top of this section.  These values update in Realtime, so you can alter to your heart's content.

Make sure to SAVE before you close out the ENB menu.

How do I remove the BLACK BARS at the top & bottom of the screen?

Ipersonally love the letterbox effect. I just do. I grew up when widescreen was a new TV model feature, and the cinematic feel of the bars just looks better imo. But I get it, it's not for everyone.Z

    • Open the ENB menu (SHIFT + ENTER)
    • Expand ENBPOSTPROCESS.FX menu in the middle section.
    • Remove check next to Enable Letterbox Bars.

Make sure to SAVE before you close out the ENB menu.

OK, I love your ENB. BUT, I hate this "aspect" of it.

I've poured a lot of time, tears, and other bodily fluids into this ENB. I built it for me, and again, it's not everyone's taste.

    1.  Don't be afraid to experiment within the ENB.
    2.  Your main focuses should be the ENVIRONMENT areas within the ENB menu. Those are the ones I have played with the most.

Note - Most Dungeon interiors utilize the NO HOPE weather setup. If you don't like that, you can simply rename / delete this file > enbseries\ _locationsweather.ini which will change all interiors to be the same lighting, etc. (edited)

Make sure to SAVE before you close out the ENB menu.

I will get some screens with this eventually.
Raid Weathers is so good and not many ENBs for it.

Something is wrong with the grass, not even the grass but the landscape, it stretches out in the form of needles (I have no idea how to fix this.

That's because Complex Terrain Parallax is turned on in the ENB without you having Parallax landscape textures. Either disable it or get parallax landscape textures.

Damn, this ENB is really cool and unique. I always loved the darker and grittier ENBs like GRIM and Ominous but there are so few of them around. I especially love this one as it doesn't go too far into either grey colour palette like Ebony and Grim does nor does it go too far into the browner colour palette like Ominous does. And I love that there can be colourful moments in the ENB too. Keep up the great work. Also, is there any chance of this being released for any other weather mod?

Cheers!  I truly appreciate the kind comments.

What weather mod would you like me to test with?  I can always add to my test modlist and tinker with the settings.

It's been a while but I'd love to see this ENB adapted for NAT.III and Obsidian.

Fab ENB, using the new version with ELFX Shadows and Medieval Lanterns (virtually the entire Medieval suite) and it really adds to the grim vibe. Great work, thank you.

Wanted to check and see if you were successful with NAT or did you go with RAID?

Haven't messed with it yet. Working on a thing in game to make some massive mods work together and have it fairly vanilla rn. Have it downloaded for later use though

I LOVE YOUR MODLIST, thank you! Hopefully Base Ostim will be back. I am accustomed to using the Ominous ENB, I like the dark nights and dungeons for that claustrophobic feel. How would you say this compares? Thank you!!

      Appreciate the LOVE!

BASE & MCO are being updated to v1.1.0.3 today.  OSTIM versions will be released shortly after.  Finalizing some testing on the new OSTIM Standalone framework vs. NG.

Not familiar with Ominous ENB, but will say that my ENB does the following:

      • Custom sky colors
      • Custom vignette overlay
      • Custom interior weathers for most dungeons and other locations
      • Focuses on dark & hopeless feeling while traversing Skyrim

Gallows of Skyrim SSE at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)
SKYRIMS DEAD at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)

Note - I had to remove these as they hit your FPS something fierce.  At least they did for me.  I love them otherwise.
