    Hi gang, before posting a comment here saying the mod isn't enabled, is crashing or is missing the .esp etc, please consider trying to download the Backported Extended ESL Support to resolve the issue. Bethesda have updated Skyrim yet again, which has broken plenty of mods and their compatibility.

    Hi everyone!

    The update for version 1.5 of Meridia's Order has been released! It's been 2 months in the making and I've taken on board a lot of feedback from your comments, so I really hope you enjoy the additions and changes. For a detailed list of what has been changed/added, please look at the changelog on the description page.

    It's my hope that with this update, I can consider this mod "completed". If there are to be any updates in the future, they will likely just be bug fixes or minor changes. However, please feel free to let me know your thoughts (particularly if they're complimentary, as that'll make me feel much better about having spent 4 years on this mod!)

    Finally, thanks to all the wonderful voice actors who dedicated their time and talent to the characters I created! They're a wonderful bunch, so please take a look at the Forum tab for their credits.Also, a little extra thanks to JaySerpa who has spent way too much of his own time helping me out with this.

    Does anyone have the stage numbers available so I can skip sections that glitch.  I've played through before but its stuck this time.  I can not tell Adara about the vampire menace...

      Still there? I've been digging comments about latest stuff and bugs since I played this last year.

      You can acquire this mod's questIDs and stage indexes by loading the mod with xEdit.

      I recalled this main questIDs are called "NMeridiaXX" where XX stands for the quest number from 01 (start) to 09 (questline finale).

      I did this walkaround when my finale, of all them quests, got bugged.

    I have been enjoying this. The necromancer in Solitude can be dealt with by a stealth kill  For me he appeared when I came out of the Hall of Dead door, so an instant retreat back there and going out of the other door worked OK. Everything worked smoothly until I was asked to speak to Meridia in Fort Justice - the dialogue  came up but I could get no response.
    I was pleased that whenever there appeared to be nasty business there was a way to avoid it. Also, being sent to what was expected to be a trap followed by a real trap was a nice touch.
    I don't know if my problem above is a real bug in this mod or caused by another mod, but there must be a way around it.

    Great mod for those who love playing as her Champion. However, this replaces the vanilla voice for Meridia, which I don't like it at all, should have put it as an optional add on, or at least put in the description section.

      This mod...adds a significant amount of dialogue lol. Explain how they would do that with her original voice? Anyway, such a miniscule thing for a free mod that is often greater than the original game it is in.

      I'd also like to add that splicing really isn't possible considering Merida's vanilla voice is unique and doesn't contain nearly as much dialogue as other vanilla NPC's, which makes splicing significantly easier. And the VA did an excellent job at replicating the transition. This complaint is silly.

      I didn't know this mod extends her dialogues more than just the vanilla quest, since I only finished that part and haven't touch the add ons. I dont like the replacement voice and I didn't understand why the need to implement it into this mod, but now I get it, thanks for the explanation, my bad.

      I personally agree with you, prefered the original voice and wished it was optional.

    For some reason, when I trigger any of the conversations between Alzacar and the Jester, only the Jester speaks and Alzacar does not move to his spot, effectively skipping Alzacar's presence in the conversation, and none of the quest stages move forward. I can repeat the letter-giving dialogue to either of them infinitely. Any ideas?

      same issue here, alzacar and jester do not engage in conversation, alzacar either eats or sleeps. i don't know of a way to progress from here, the game is stuck

      This video shows what happens during the conversation that is supposed to happen. I'd recommend viewing this conversation, then using the console to skip the quest stage. That's what I did, I believe the quest ID is "NMeridia08MiscJester" and you should set the quest stage to 40. Then everything continued as normal for me. Hope this works for you.

      Thanks for the reply, this worked for me as well. For anyone with the same issue, after giving the letter to Alzacar, open console and type "setstage NMeridia08MiscJester 40" and it will progress the quest. After that you can talk to Alzacar and keep progressing normally.
  10. Really disappointed by the mod. It seemed like such a cool idea, but the whole thing just fell flat for me. First the major problem i had with the mod was it had very little to do with Meridia, or her worship, or even her own Daedra. Nothing, Vigilant feels more like a mod about Meridia then this mod. Building her cult through out Skyrim, and bringing people and followers to her order should have been what this mod was about.
     
    Also there wasn't enough time with any of the members before the temple gets attack and one of them dies, it would have been better if it paced itself and let you get to know each member before hand. Agent of Righteous Might did it so much better than this. And did this mod really need that quest with Findar? I was made worse in my game because of Interesting npcs' Larkspur who was a much better version of Findar and that mod is over ten years old.
      
    Fyra or whatever her name is wasn't a good villian and her backstory was very generic. Using Lamae Bal was also a bad choice, as only doesn't she fit, there was a far better choice in Mannimarco. It should have been about the Order of the Black Worm and the God of Worms instead, it would have been a much better choice.
     
    Now a few small problems. The grammar and spelling in the subs and dialogue was wrong, For example the dialogue Ask i asked, instead of As i asked. The word Necromancers Union was a lmao moment, and really stupid to inclued. The mod doesn't respect player gender with isn't good. Calling a She a Him for example. 

    Overrall not great experince and in need of a rework at most and serious patching the least to fix the Grammar and the pacing.
     
    On the plus side, Marith was actually really cool and i grew to like her a lot, same with Alara and the Dunmer mage. And the Revoice for Meridia was amazing. Also the mod was very bug free for me, no crashes, no game breaking stuff. 

    One final note i really hope this gets reworked or updated because there is a great idea here and i really want to see this mod become the best it can be. But until that day comes i cannot recommend this mod. : (

      For what it's worth, Mannimarco would be a terrible choice. Not only because he's currently a moon but because the whole thing with powerful necromancers, as far as the lore of the mod has set up, is that they have failsafe after failsafe against their deaths. Even Skyrim does this, with figures like Potema. Trying to bring back Mannimarco would be a stupid decision on all fronts.

    I have a question regarding the first quest you get to kill a Necromancer in Solitude..

    Why do you have to commit a crime to play through this mod that claims it gives player choice etc in resolving the quests? The NPC has no dialogue beyond "back away cur" you can't report him to the guards and he doesn't initiate combat with you to defend yourself. Even using the "kill" command doesn't work as he goes to his knees as if he is essential. There's no document/npc anything to find or do that will force him to be hostile so you can kill him without any bounty and assault charge.

    This seems like a huge oversight and the only way to do this quest is to use cheat commands to clear your crime records afterwards if the character you are playing is trying to be a "good" character.

      Omg, i stealth killed him and i still got bounty! I had to rolled to previous save because i dont want that girl to follow me and i dont want to get bounty! Too bad, seems like the kind of mod i like.
