I used Project Clarity and for some reason the textures don't look as good as your set of mods. I am using it as an base but you could get away using this whole series for the base game without any texture mods.
Check out my AIO linked at the bottom of this mod page, it covers every single texture ☺️
Project Clarity is inferior in my opinion due to the way the author decided to mix and match upscale sizing, and also due to using less accurate upscaling methods. I talked more in depth about this in the AIO comments, as well as comparing to other upscales.
Some good work on these, but I found one problem. citybannermarkarth01.dds has Markarth written in bright green block letters diagonally across it for some reason. This issue persists in the latest version 1.1 as well.
Good catch, this is actually (somehow) an unreported bug in Cleaned SSE Textures. I'm gonna fix this with a hotfix once I finish regenerating the Landscapes pack with proper alpha channels. ---------- EDIT: This is ACTUALLY the vanilla LE Markarth banner texture believe it or not, it just went unused during that time apparently, so TECHNICALLY it's not a bug, lol. But yeah, I just pulled the SSE version of the vanilla texture, and I'll upscale it when I can and upload it as a hotfix.
Side note, the vanilla Markarth banner is the only city banner to just be a plain, boring, brown cloth. I'd personally use this instead of the hotfix I'm gonna make, since it stays vanilla feeling without being the only non-decorated city banner: Artistic Skyrim Overhaul - Markarth City Banner Patch
Funny enough, Skyrim Realistic Conquering also provides a Markarth Banner texture (can select 'The Reach: Four Skull Lookout' in FOMOD to unlock the option, or likely just extract from initial zip itself) with a nice 'vanilla feel,' for other options in the meantime
Thanks for the info ☺️ I'm sorry for the delay on the hotfix, but I have to finish re-upscaling over 18,000 textures for the main packs since I already started it, before I can upscale this one SSE texture 💀 I have them all chained into a batch process
And I honestly like that banner more than my recommendation since it has the tattered holes like other vanilla ones.
Hey there! This seems like a really good project! I was wondering if you could release a separate mod with just the banners upscaled: the Nexus really lacks a proper ONLY banner improvement that sticks to the vanilla design, it would be fantastic!
At that point I may as well make it a FOMOD installer lol. we'll see what I end up doing. Might just stick with seperate nexus pages for discoverability purposes. 😎
I think separate pages is a great idea. Really fantastic work, thank you ! I've actually been keen for a standalone banner replacer for a good bit now !

Not sure how long that image link will last

I have a pending update to the Markarth banner so it isn't brown. Already in AIO 1.3 update.
there, all 3 are done
Do you also plan to include books (and beehive and barset) at some point? These are the only difference with what SSEUT Clutter covers.
