   Just curiosity, did you know that steel is iron and coal in RL.  It's your game so you can play however you like, and changing the ingredients of ingots isn't the end of the world.

      I know, there are mods that do that. I didn't do it because I didn't want to change the balance of the game.

   Why? I'm genuinely interested to know why one would want to double the ore and triple the steps required to make steel ingots.

      I made it mostly for personal use because I like to smelt all my ores into ingots, so I don't have to save the iron ore just in case I want to make steel ingots.

      No, I replaced the ID of the ores for the ID of the ingots.
