If you're using Lux, I highly recommend both "Brighter Interior Nights" and "Brighter Lighting Templates - Global Lighting Template" to be selected in the Lux FOMOD. The "Even Brighter" template should still be left blank. This gives enough interior light due to the lack of certain ENB features.
Can anyone help explain step 6? When I install it in Mod Manager 2, it just says there's no valid game data. I told it to ignore the error and have activated the mod, but it's not acting like it's overwriting anything.
Make sure it's the file containing the JSON inside, not the ReShade, keep it in it's archive and try to reinstall it. It should be pathed correctly since it's working on my end.
Hello! Is it possible to remove the effect around the character's head? This also happens with some overlays and parts of the user interface. Additionally, excessive glow of elements UI

That file is just the settings loaded by Community Shaders which can all be adjusted in game via the UI. It mostly dims some of the particle lighting in my specific case.
Thank you for this great preset. I was testing out with Reshade.exe and it was too bright for me. Plus with Reshade.exe installed my fps drop by a lot too and I'm not sure why. There's also an noticeable ghosting on the my character in 3rd person.
So I ended up just using it without Reshade.exe and it's still coming out nice.
It was just my attempt to set up the ReShade preset as something akin to an ENB but I'm glad the json is helping! There isn't actually much coming from the json itself besides some lighting tweaks, so that's actually all Community Shaders (unless you're also using the KreatE)
I noticed this, at the bottom of the Description section. "*Not compatible with ENB, as it was tweaked specifically for this combo." I'm using ENB series v0499, for bug fixes. Is this going to be a problem?
Well ENB just doesn't allow Community Shaders to load. It's an either-or type of program. You'll know it's not loading because you can't open it's GUI with the END key while the ENB binaries are detected.
Download the ReShade exe from it's website, run it, then install all available shaders. Once it's installed you can then open your game and open the ReShade window (which will automatically greet you) and then select this ReShade ini from the drop down as long as it's in your game folder.
