Im hoping i can find some help as i dont think this mod is broken or anything, im pretty sure some other mod (fps gain one) broke this but i dont know how to fix it: the shield plaque stopped working, no action comes up to activate it and i cant hang a shield there anymore, above the fireplace. This also is the case in another modded house i have but don’t really use. Swords are fine but shields are broken. I have uninstalled that fps mod and reinstalled Clearspring, but its still broken ;; i did google and i cant understand it, im really not well versed in programming hehe… can anyone maybe give a tip?
I fear i can't really help you. Weaponrack and shield-plaque allways appears really weird to me. Sometimes it works fine and sometimes it just won't. Sometimes it do the job when i follow exactly the multiples tuto for modding them and sometimes i have to copy/paste them from existing cell.
I had seen that all the dynamic stuff (like weapon, shield rack and planter soil for exemple) react very badly to install/uninstall leaving stuff and error behind them. Maybe you could try looking for help in the forum, people there are very kind and friendly.
For the rest, i have no real solution. Hope you get a save not too far away, just in case.

Love this mod, it has become my main house, it is absolutely adorable and totally lore friendly, so bonus! Ive uploaded two pics of the location cause i had trouble myself finding it, the video shown was too quick for my elderly me, hope thats ok ;) keep up the good work <3
For anyone one also having trouble and since its not marked on the map, its south of the Atronach Stone and Mistwatch, look for a Clearing map symbol on your compass ;)
I agree the cottage is not easy to find. In some way i think it like an forsaken home, so we do not need to complete any quest or pay anything, the only hard thing is to find it !
