Just a heads up, this mod does include the vanilla records for Torbjorn Shatter-Shield and Aegisbane, meaning that any mods modifying the two could have their changes overwritten. I would recommend deleting these two records in xEdit.
I checked out the mod data in SSEEDit and it appears that it does not interfere with Quest Conflict Fixes - Get Aegisbane at all. However, it does contain records for Torbjorn and Aegisbane. Any mods that edit these (in my case those were USSEP, AI Overhaul, and Unique Uniques) should be loaded afterReturn Aegisbane as the records in this mod's plugin do not appear to make any changes to the game data.
Alain dufont and aegisbane spawn as part of the base world and have no required ties to DB questline apart from having to kill him. but you can kill him and get the weapon whenever, Muiri contract will be pre completed and she will have a new line of dialog. the weapon itself is unimportant and no further function. unless you have legacy installed.
I tried this mod v1.2 and returning part works well, but couldn't make the quest start or get dialogue option with Torbjorn after the guards speaking a rumor about the hummer.
Thank you for the response, I meant about the guards hello and I confirmed it was my fault that I disabled BEES unintentionally when I was trying this route.

Wrong! With Torbjorn employing pirates to steal from East Empire Trading Company ships and undercut their business, the Shatter-Shields shall shatter!

Did you have the hammer in your inventory when speaking to the guards? They’ll only direct you to return it if you do.
