Hi, I have a couple of questions. 1- In the section of images for user, the user Leostevano has shared some screenshots. Is this the result of your mod, or maybe Leostevano is using another mod to reduce dust particles in the environment? 2- Does the mod also work in dark areas, or does it only focus on light? At first I thought about Ambiance, but this one was too dense in some areas. I'm looking for something more balanced, not too bright, not too dark. I'm not a user of Shaders or ENBs, I'm looking for something to use in conjunction with Azurite, and I've only used CoT before, so I'm looking for something simple, but effective.
Guess this was abandoned...? Also looks like crap compared to Relighting Skyrim + Luminosity. Hell, light sources where no bulbs exists. What was even the point of this lighting mod?
Can anyone tell me if this mod is compatible with Realistic lighting overhaul? IfI check both interior and exterior in the FOMOD for RLO am I going to run into problems?
I am not using any ENBs, weather mods, or lighting mods, and this alone has made Skyrim a lot more atmospheric for me. Thank you!
Just one question though... every interior spaces I have tried so far have looked very nice under Somber settings, but that lovely change does not apply for me inside Dragonsreach. That is the ONE place where this mod doesn't seem to be working for me, and I am not sure why that is the case. It is just too bright in there.
Looking through old posts, I saw that there were several people mentioning this, but there haven't been any suggestions thrown out. I'd appreciate some feedback.
Hey there, I've switched from ENB to CS, and started using this with Window Shadows RT + Update, and Ambiance to finish things off. I really enjoy the color palette and warmth of the lights.
However, it seems that anytime I have this mod installed, it reverses the normal light adaptation in the game--meaning that when I look at a burning torch or light source, the surroundings get brighter around it, and if I look away, it gets significantly darker. I've isolated it to this mod specifically, between the 4 mentioned above with the help of the CS crew on their Discord.
I like the mod and I'd like to keep using it, but I'm not really sure how to fix this, or how it happened. I'm sure I futz'd somethin up. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Yes I've found this aswell, seems this mod is incompatible with the new CS particle effects. You can troubleshoot it in game by altering the brightness/radius particle settings in the CS menu and even disable particle lights.
Skyrim is Luminous needs a patch/fix for CS similarly to what was done for Azurite III (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/138991?tab=files&file_id=582921&nmm=1)
You can just use Window Shadows with Light placer based mods like placed light/cs light. It will illuminate all the candles and other stuff, essentialy doing what SiL doing - placing bulbs there. Obvious advantage is no .esp patches are needed.
With just Skyrim is Luminous + MLO or Skyrim is Luminous + Placed light and light placer the eye adaption issue occurs. I don't know if Skyrim is Luminous even has a eye adaption features or if it is just a duplicate bulb situation, but the interaction with CS particle lights is broken.
The nice thing about SIL is no patches needed as-well, haven't tried window Shadows though.
Acoustic Space Improvement Fixes needs a patch for different lighting mods. It does not have one for Skyrim is Luminous, but does have one for Luminosity. Since this mod incorporates Luminosity can we use that patch instead?
Love this mod! Just one thing - the places where multiple candles are VERY bright for me. Like those plates with 4-5 candles or the row of candles on the enchanting table. Single candles are fine. Other light sources are fine.
Using Weather Is Sacred ENB. That's a very subtle one. I checked without Particle Patch and ENB Light, they have nothing to do with it. I ended up editing the enbseries.ini here from 1 (default) to 0.5 and that "solved" the problem:
Maybe there could be an optional version / patch without the brightness-stacking effect? I'm assuming there's a formula somewhere in this mod, upping the brightness when more candles are counted. Or something like that.
Can this mod be used as a complete replacement for Lux, Lux Orbis, and Lux Via? Just looking for a light upgrade to vanilla lighting that can be augmented with Community Shaders + Reshade + NAT CS III
Such a nice lighting mod. But is there anything i can do for get brighter inns and stores but keeping the dark dungeons as i installed the nightmare version of this mod.
What is the main difference between this mod and Relighting Skyrim SE? It is said in the description section that unlike Relighting this mod preserves existing vanilla bulbs, but the Relighting description says it retains the vanilla visual style too
