Hey everyone! I hope you all had nice holidays and a happy new year! Here is my latest retexture, covering most robes! This is the biggest retexture in this series so far. It started out as multiple mods but I decided to merge them all together, into a package that is hopefully more user-friendly!

Why is the full-res file size so big? Simply because with all the consistency patches and optional textures, there are about 280 textures, in the initial download and most of them are 4k. If file size is a major concern for you, I recommend using the half-res version (roughly same texture sizes as vanilla Skyrim SE/AE). It still looks good and saves a lot of hardware space. If you have a low-spec PC, I also uploaded a low-res option, which is half of the half res (so 1k chest/robes 512 everything else). I recommend only using this option if your PC cannot run the half res version.

    WHAT IS NEXT?

Next up will be Creation Club's Spell Knight sets. I posted my To-do list on my Patreon. The list is public so no need to become a Patron to see it.

Also, please let me know if you wish to see more clothing from me. I know I mentioned many times over the last year that I did not intend to do clothes, but I wanted to challenge myself during the holidays and tried retexture the novice mage robes for fun and ended up really liking my results, which is why I decided to do this project. If you would like to see the rest of the clothes, please let me know in the comments!

Awesome work ! Could you make your textures compatible with Modernize ? It will look really perfect !

They should already be compatible. Modernize changes the meshes and I change the textures

I already try to use both mods, and I don't find how to use your textures along Modernize's meshes... Maybe Modernize makes it impossible to use other textures than vanilla ones ? I will investigate further...

Did you possibly find out the issue?

Unfortunately not ! And I really don’t understand why the two mods conflict each other, since they don't modify the same thing :/ If anyone can help us, it will be great !

Which version of modernize are you using? Do you have the patch hub?

I use the latest version of Modernize (2.7), but not the patch hub. But I don't see how the patch hub could resolve this incompatibility ?

Any chance you could add Black Mage Armor SE to the list of your Retextures?

I am getting a conflict with Frankly HD Imperial Armor And Weapons... namely heartstoneharness.dds and heartstoneharness_n.dds

Would it need a patch? Or should I load one after the other?

These textures are for the harness/belt that holds the heartstone on the robes of Ildari.

I’d recommend loading my textures after Frankly’s but if you prefer their take on the harness, load mine first

Hello. Love the textures, they fit with the game as if they've always been there. But is it possible your contingency patches conflict with ACE's gear allocation to certain NPCs? Wild edits, perhaps? * For example, with the contingency patches installed, Irileth loses the elven armor ACE gives her and reverts back to her default leather. Many of the priests, for example Danica Pure-Spring in Whiterun or Aranea Ienith at the Shrine of Azura, also lose ACE's custom robes and revert back to their default yellow or blue robes.

    * EDIT #1: Wild edits or any kind of load order related problem can't be the culprit, the mod is just textures, no plugin XD Ok. Hmmm... Is it possible the FOMOD just doesn't install the appropriate textures for the ACE robes? But then... Why would Irileth's armor magically change from Elven to Leather if there's no plugin. *Head scratch* Gonna need to dig deeper. I'm curious if anyone experiences the same issue, though!

EDIT #2 : Worked it out. I smoke test mods before starting new games, using coc from the main menu, and ACE sometimes doesn't immediately distribute its new outfits. Traveling away and back to areas waiting a few in-game hours in between will see the correct outfits show up. Never noticed that behavior before because this mod is the first reason I ever have to "tour" the custom robes NPCs. ;)

Hello! All of your retextures are working perfectly, but for some reason the mage robes are not appearing and all of my court wizards are naked! But on top of being naked because the game is reading the actor as dressed the male wizards "members" are just a big texture glitched hole, could it be a himbo conflict or would it be another armor mod?

I am having this same problem. I'm wearing RUSTIC CLOTHING - Special Edition, himbo and BHUNP, both female and male court wizards are naked

I only modify the textures, not the meshes or distribution. You most likely have a conflict somewhere else

apparently all robed npcs are naked for me... I'm using CBBE body type for women and don't know why this is happening

I am not super familiar with bodyslides, but maybe check your bodyslides output? This retexture is textures only, so it cannot do that

    this one
    and this one
My restoration robe extension doesn't seem to be working, as instead of the nice pure yellow as depicted, its got the restoration symbol plastered all over it in the checker pattern, did I install something incorrectly?

If needed, I could provide examples of what I had before I lost all my mods, then what it is now.

I'm having a slight issue, despite using the blue mage robes version, the expert level robes are using the vanilla-like texture. The rest of the robes appear to be working just fine. Its literally just the expert level robes.

Hello, I had the same issue as you, what I did was extract the mod folder from the winrar file, dug through the folders until I found the one with expert blue robes (journeyman), then pasted the blue robes .dds file onto the installed mod's folder containing the wrong expert mage robes textures
