    Hey everyone! here is my latest retexture, for the spell knight armors added by the Creation Club.

    Please let me know what you think of these textures, especially the metals. You may notice the don't match exactly with my previous ebony, steel and iron retextures. These spell knight sets are a bit brighter, more reflective and more detailed. I intend to bring these changes to my ebony, iron and steel retextures, in updates over the next few months.


    WHAT IS NEXT?
    Next up will most likely be an update to the Ebony retexture. here's what is planned in this update (nothing set in stone, it might change). If you have requests / ideas, please leave them in the comments.


    • delete cubemap changes (looking back, I feel this is unneeded and feature-creep)
    • make all sets more reflective
    • clean up all patterns (they are pretty noisy, rn)
    • make the cc ebony plate set match the regular ebony sets better
    • make the weapon patterns pop out more (they are too faded rn)
    • take another look at which consistency patches I should add, if any


    I also partnered with my fellow mod author Slampire on a new mod called Swords of the Sanctum - Spell Knight Expansion and Distribution. This mod will distribute the spell knight sets and add 3 new light armor variants: Moonstone, Glass and Stalhrim, and 1 new heavy armor variant: orcish. I did the textures and meshes for these new variants. 



    I posted my To-do list on my Patreon. The list is public so no need to become a Patron to see it. Please note that the list might move around a bit, over the next few weeks.


    ABOUT PERMISSIONS
    For all my retextures, you are free to use any of my textures as a base to create your own or create any kind of patches. Basically everything is okay as long as you do not simply repost my work as-is. I just ask that you please credit me and anyone else credited on my mod pages, when applicable 
    You can also feel free to add any of my mods in your Nexus Collections or Wabbajack modlists!

    i use all your retextures except the  daedra. they are a must! thanks for making this, i just managed to get cc content today so this was greta timing.
    ps will you ever revisit the daedra one?

      no, I don't plan on revisiting my daedric retexture. I'm happy with the 2.0 update

    Do you plan to make an option for the steel to more closely resemble your other steel armor textures?

    If you update this mod someday, it would be nice to have an option for the color of the cloth.
    I think black would look better on ebony than purple.

    Hi there, first of all your retextures are awesome, thanks for all your work!

    Unfortunately I ran into a texture glitch with the Spell Knight Armor. It looks like this on both the main file and the half res file. Any idea what is wrong there?

    Edit: I did some testing and looked at the armor with vanilla textures and it seems that for some reason the pauldrons of the armor always have the textures of the ebony set (dark with a bit of gold), also in the iron and steel version... what the. I appreciate it if anyone can help, thanks!

      You are most likely using a bad bodyslide conversion

      An update to this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/62774 fixed the issue for me

    Absolutely love these retextures. Can anyone tell me if this works with the HDT-SMP mod for this armor here?

      Haven't checked yet but it should be, this mod only changes Textures while the SMP mod changes the meshes.

    do the retexture work with the other versions of the spell knight like the Dawnguard and collage versions?

      There are no dawnguard or college spell knight armors

      No, I will not make an aio. This project is way too big for that.
      At most, I would make a nexus collection to install all my retextures, if no good unofficial ones exist by the time this series is done

    Hey! Your retextures are amazing. I love your dedication to every set in the game, I can now get the visual consistency that I've always wanted :)

    Do you think it would it be possible to do a retexture for the CC arquebus?

      I would normally tend to agree, but the arquebus is different enough that I think it's worth it. Yeah, I know there's a free mod here on nexus that adds rifles but tbh I didn't like it. Felt like retextured staves. 

      Also... the entire CC content is paid mods, is it not? Sure Beth is now giving a lot of that content for free with AE but you still have to pay for the AE. 

      In any case, I'm sad to hear that but of course, it's your choice and I respect it. Hope to see more of your excellent work!

    How much Vanilla and CC content is left to cover? I know red guard armor still needs attention. Also any plans to expand the Immersive armors coverage? (painted shields, shield variants, and remaining armors not yet touched)
