By the Nine, this is truly a beautiful mod! It's almost enough to make Talos forget the atrocities those knife-ears comitted against the Empire. That aside, would you be able to add documentation on how to add custom motifs and link items from mods to it? I have a LOT of armor and weapons mods and uhh...I would like to be able to do this myself. (To be honest I'll probably just end up linking all my mods to a single book and throw it away and forget about it. I use AIM to get my modded weapons so, I never need to see the crafting section of the game unless I'm tempering items.)
its incredibly easy. all you do is double click the _mw_crafingmotif1 in the books section of the ck. rename and renumber it. then save it as a new form. then you go to the constructible object section and double click the recipe you want to add the motif to. in the section called match conditions you right click and select new. then under the condition function you select "GetItemCount" and to the right of it where it says INVALID you left click on INVALID and select the motif as parameter 1. then click ok on all the dialog boxes and save the file and viola you've made a crafting motif. and to get it ingame you either edit the CID.ini file I provided or use an additemmenu.
Is there a possibility of making a patcher for this to automate the process for large modlists? I'm smoothbrain to the highest when it comes to modding so apologies if this is a silly question.
oh >.> that might be way too much plus personal merges lmao so i wont stress u about that, i wonder if something like a zedit patcher for weapon materials would work, hell if i understood how skypatcher worked i'd think of something but i'll get it for the declutter tbh i need it lol
I second this. It sounds cool, though I wish there was a fuller explanation and examples for those like me who never player ESO. If there was more detail and no CC requirement, I think it might be something I'd download, since I can't stand the cluttered crafting menus.
Edit: Deleted after my nefarious actions of "recommending alternate versions" and "answering a modder's questions" have been revealed! Apologies all around!
I see I see sspalex77. plugging a different mod since you made an addon for it and hope to garner more attention to it. very nicely done. Im not mad though. plug away. what Ive done was made for me and its uploaded because I thought others might like it. mine makes no edits to leveled lists and should be compatible with just about everything unless they edit recipe conditions which was my goal. if heim works for another Im glad to host your comment suggesting it.
sspalex77 I wasnt mad. it was just the first time I ever got a chance to point out that you did well plugging another mod you made an addon for like that. it was a very subtle thing and I found it interesting and neat and was praising you for the subtlety of it. please readd your comment. if another finds heim useful I think they should use it. truly I wasnt mad. I hold no ill will nor was I trying to shame you. merely to point out the well done plug and that I noticed it. it made me smile to see that my little mod caught your attention and that someone actually plugged another mod on my first mod release.

file you provided, orThen I come across this mod today. Gonna install and try it out - but I love that you implemented this great idea.
I use a lot of armor and weapon mods that could use the treatment :)
I'm almost done with them. Tedious work since some mods have so many entries x_X
