Really enjoying this mod so far! The UI sounds are nice and the music is phenomenal. However I have a question. Is there any way to get rid of the UI sound that plays whenever I change weapons? I don't think there's a specific file in the folder for that, right? Sorry if the question is silly, I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to the modding stuff.
The file you're looking for is named ui_quest_active, and it's can be accessed like this:
If using Vortex, right click on the mod and press Open in File Manager
Navigate to sound → fx → ui
Here you should be able to see ALL the audio files that the mod uses for specific actions within the UI, so if you delete ui_quest_active, the sound the mod plays when equipping an item should be resorted to the vanilla version.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If the sound effect still plays within the game, remember to do the following! Sometimes for the change you've done in the mod to take effect you need to enable/disable said mod in Vortex. Do this until the notification pops up that the mod has been tampered with/files were changed. Click save changes (should be above the first line of the mod name)or something along those lines and confirm. Then start your game trough Vortex and hopefully enjoy your game with the adjustments you made! If the notification still doesn't pop-up after the above steps I suggest restarting Vortex and trying again.
Hope this helps and sorry for the late reply :)
P.S. If you installed the mod manually, you can simply cut it out directly out of the file once you 7zip it (you should follow the above mentioned path in the mod folder after that) and then paste into the Data folder.
P.S. 2 As I mentioned before, in the ui folder you can find all the audio files the mod uses to replace your actions with the world (which includes not only UI and menus, but also smithing, enchanting, etc.). So I assume you could hypothetically remove either a specific sound effect you don't like (you will, however, may have to find it by experimenting with removing some files and seeing if it restores the vanilla audio) or ALL sound effects that the mod adds. To use this mod ONLY for its music, simply removing the ui folder should do the trick! However I've only tried it for a short period of time so this might not work in the long run. But again from my experience, it worked perfectly by returning all the vanilla sound effects while keeping the wonderful soundtrack intact.
also just really fantastic ui sounds , i thought id never end up replacing memospore but i somehow enjoy these even more , the valhalla option is a fantastic touch that i rlly appreciate
i have been listening to the immersive music mod for years, but that mod uses Witcher 3 music, so it is pretty good stuff, but i'm thinking of getting this mod, the only real difference is this mod says it only covers 3 hours of music where immersive music does over 15 hours of soundtrack, it's a tough decision.
