    Lore tidbits as promised!

    In the past, two rival vampire clans sought to be free from the Tyranny of the Sun.
    Each had done this by creating a powerful vessel and trapping their souls inside of them.

    The Night Matron is an immensely powerful gargoyle-type construct. The clan that has created her was a master of what's now categorized as Alteration and Destruction magic hence her using such spells during combat.

    Lord of Doom is made like a bone colossus. It is a powerful vessel used by a clan of vampires who are masters of Necromantic arts.
    This particular clan once had a vast amount of thralls and servants. They are now known as the Legion of the Eternal.

    They're currently dormant and hiding, waiting for something...


    Some tidbits about the spells:
    •  Leeching Aurora effect (the blood bits) was designed after rose flowers. A gothic vampire-type need one of these, right?
    •  Herald of Torment was added on a whim because I love how the shiny and flashy lightning spell look actually!
    •  If you're not aware, Entropic Flame or anything that lower resistance allows you to drain more resources with the absorption spells.
    I feel like Entropic Flame's damage being around the caster is the best for convenience and for vampire-type spellcasters that fight at closer range.


    The (currently) boss-only spells/attacks:
    •  Eclipse Flame: NIght Matron's consecutive wide area flame waves attack.
    •  Umbral Lacerators: Night Matron's shadow magic spell where the arena is slowly filled with bursting spiky hazard things.
    •  Defile: Lord of Doom's spell where a large skull is launched at the target, dealing lingering poison damage. Projectile leaves Blood Tendril(s) too.
    •  Armada of Demise: Lord of Doom's spell where eight projectiles are shot at around the target from above.

    Also about the Eternal Legion soldiers; there's 3 male and 3 female all wearing different type of armors. Only 3 of these can be summoned by the player which is a bit lame. I'll see if I can include them in future updates because they all got cool models!

    File says "Ancient Blood Magic IIw" so ppl need to rewrite it to II so it replaces the old ver in Special Edition.

    hello ı have a problem that ı cant solve harvest of the bats power doesnt do what it supposed to do instead it just does the same thing with the bats form power can anyone help me with this ı realy wanted to use the spell but ı cant

    i'm trying to make my own spell.

    i put all these effects on it.

    but the animation to cast is weird, if i dual wield 1-hand-cast spells, it forces me into a 'master' level animation, where i cant move forward, im stuck there until the animation plays out, 
    or it forces me into a dual hand Concentration focuses stance. looks real ugly.

    i just want a simple fire and cast, 1 handed. no weird animations.

    if anyone wants to give me a lead here that would be great. 

    why am i talking about this on your Ancient Bloodmagic II page ?
    because i downloaded this and another spell mod by this author, and i think this is the appropriate place to ask for general Spell Help.

      You generally don't want to put multiple magic effects of different spells together it won't work unless the magic effects are set up in a specific way.
      The master animation could be from the ritual spell keyword in some of the magic effects!

      i downloaded the latest version. do you have a README that explains what you changed ? do i need the latest version ?

    is it possible for you to add a patch that makes these considered hemomancy by sacrosanct?

    ok just Curious cause I this happened but  I was testing out the ancient magic um so I summoned the gargole the dark one I can't member name of  and the legion after it died but I noticed they became hostile towards me after a while  is that suppose to happen. at least my followers caught him before it hit me  but yea  I figured I would ask.

    Hello Kittytail, I really like your mods a lot!!! I was wondering if there are any mods planned for magic for necromancers (like Manimarko's Legacy) or magic for followers of Sheogorath/Jiggalag (although Obscure magic fits), Periight and other Daedra?

    i tought my npc vampire these spells.

    he didnt prioritize casting them as i would of hoped.. he used his measly vampiric drain.. 

    such a shame

    have you had any success in giving your custom spells to your own followers ?

    i havent seen any NPCs vampires or anything use these spells. i'm playing at level 100. 
    i didn't modify the INI. i'm using the default install.

    can you comment on this ?

      They're added to vampires occasionally if you have SPID but I didn't make them prioritize using these.

      hi, i was trying to edit your Spell. the Harvest Swarm of Bats.🦇  🦇

      i successfully managed to change the duration from 8 second to 20 second, 🦇
      and i changed the invisibility to self from 3 second to 20 and then speed buff from 2 second to 20.🦇

      I'm trying to make the radius Super Big. 150 radius? but i don't know which file tidbit to edit, there seems to be a lot of tidbits required for that spell to work properly.  🦇 🦇 🦇 🦇       🦇

    Spells work, look good, the two I tried were effective in battle. No crashes. ESL flagged mod.
