About this mod
ESL-flagged set of 11 magic spells. Some are probably over-powered, but they're a lot of fun.

This is a set of 11 new magic spells from various schools of magic. Some started as utility spells for testing new mod ideas. Others were deliberately made to be a little over the top. All of them are useful and fun.
Alteration - Apprentice
Hasten
Increases the caster's movement speed by 100%. Cast again to end the effect.
I'm pretty sure the boost gained with this spell is more than 100%. It's fast and makes getting around less of a chore. The effect ends after 10 minutes or when you re-cast the spell.
Alteration - Expert
Skeleton Key
Locks of any rating can be opened effortlessly for 10 seconds.
Any lock, novice-master, can be opened by simply activating the locked door or container and selecting the "Skeleton Key" button. It will not unlock anything that cannot normally be lock-picked.
Temporal Collapse
Slows time for 10 seconds.
10 seconds feels like a fairly long time when time moves at 1% of normal speed. This is as close to stopping time as I could get without the game freaking out. The caster will be affected less than everyone else, like with the Slow Time Shout.
To be completely immune and able to move at normal speed, use my other mod Arcane Mastery.
Conjuration - Master
Legion
Reanimates multiple corpses in the immediate area for 10 minutes.
With this spell you can potentially reanimate up to 100 undead minions. They will each have their own duration, so you do not have to reanimate them all at the same time. If they are not completely destroyed when their duration ends or they are "killed", you can reanimate them again.
Vengeful Dead
Raised allies gain increased health, magicka, and stamina regeneration and greater combat skills for 2 minutes.
Why? Because nobody wants a wimpy undead army. This will make your army of groaning idiots a force to be reckoned with. It makes all of your raised undead super tanky and very hard hitting.
Destruction - Expert
Contagion
All targets in the area that fail to resist are infected with a potent disease cocktail.
Enemies in the area of effect quickly lose their magicka and stamina, slowly lose their health, and move slower.
Illusion - Expert
Clean Slate
Removes all bounties from an entire hold.
This spell removes any bounty for the hold you are currently in. It costs no gold and includes a powerful calm effect to stop any guards who are already hostile. After casting, it's best to quickly leave the area. Guards who were outside of the calm AOE may still be hostile until you leave and return.
Grasp Heart
Quickly kills anything with a beating heart. Does not affect Daedra. Nearby witnesses will flee in terror.
Hits 'em hard, kills 'em fast. Just aim and cast.
Side note: I hate animating. I tried it on some Unity projects a long time ago and didn't have the patience required. If anyone wants to make a casting (grasping) animation for this one, let me know. I'd love to try it.
Restoration - Apprentice
Cure Disease
Cures all diseases. Heals the caster for 100 points.
STDs (Skyrim Transmitted Diseases) are extremely annoying. I find it inconvenient to need a cure potion or shrine blessing once a day. It gets old.
Restoration - Adept
Drain Touch - Take
Steals magicka from the caster's target.
A short range concentration spell to leech magicka from enemies. It limits their abilities and increases yours.
Drain Touch - Give
Rapidly transfers magicka to a targeted ally.
I sometimes play a support role and let my followers tear it up. In the early game, they occasionally run out of magicka in longer battles.
All of my spells were made with my other mod Arcane Mastery in mind. It adds scaling, follower immunity, and total immunity to the slow time effect. They work fine without it, but they're better with it.
If you have Container Item Distributor installed, the spell tomes can be purchased from the college mages or court wizards. The CID.ini file is included in the download.
If you do not have/want Container Item Distributor installed, the spell tomes can be crafted at a tanning rack. I didn't want to make any edits to leveled lists to avoid compatibility issues.
