This is the only version of RDO I'm planning on uploading for Skyrim Special Edition (SSE), barring any game-breaking bugs. The only "updates" I may release are patches for conflicting mods that get updated for SSE. (The only other exception is if both SKSE and SkyUI are updated to work with SSE)
In truth, how RDO ended up is not like my original intentions. Without getting into the specifics, just know that this was supposed to be a resource for other modders, with various other options intended for users. Well, it all ended up getting squashed into a single plugin with a few patches. Not at all how I originally intended it to be. So, I've decided to actually create the mod(s) I originally wanted. It'll take me a while, with real life and other potential modding obligations, but I've learned a lot when working on RDO that I didn't know when I first started the project in December of 2015, which will be of great benefit.
Hopefully you all have enjoyed using RDO over the last few months, and I truly appreciate the amount of support that all of you have shown for the mod. It really does mean a lot!
Yes, I'm aware that iAFT and AFT have been uploaded for SSE. I'll work on updating the patches and release them as soon as I've confirmed that they're working. Just give me some time.
Edit: There is seemingly an issue where mods from Skyrim Legendary Edition (SLE) are causing save game corruption in Special Edition (SE), if they were not saved in the new 64-bit CK for SE. This is the case for, most likely, a large number of mods available right now for SE.
RDO is NOT one of those mods. It was saved in the CK for SE, and is safe to use.
Sorry for the absence this past month. There have been personal issues, along with university studies, that have been taking up most of my time. Now that the fall semester is over, I'll hopefully be able get back into modding more and provide better support (let's face it - I haven't done a very good job with that).
I'm also greatly considering another update to RDO (yes, I know, that contradicts what I previously said. As well as the name of the current version...). There are a few other vanilla audio bugs and some users requests that I would be including. I'm also possible looking into adding in-game configuration options (to replace the MCM from classic Skyrim) through a lesser power, or NPC dialogue.
Regarding the Xbox One version: I'm working on an update for both the PC and Xbox versions. So I will make the Xbox version available again once the update is finished.
Need help to understand. My NPC's are not talking to eachother. I have Nether Follower Framework and all its patches for RDO are installed. But only activity I got is from FCO (installed it, because from RDO was no dialogue between my followers). I adjusted my MCM menu so RDO must be supported and turn it to "0" for maximul talkative companions BUT nothing works. They speak only FCO lines. And not with eachother :( And FCO is not the issue. Because i installed it after getting no results from RDO dialogues. All other features of RDO works, as i can tell.
Hello, im on the last version of AE and i wanna know if it's still working on AE 1.6.1170? I saw the USSEP in the optional files but that patch is very old and im not sure if i need it or not, if anyone is using it on 1.6.1170 please let me know, Thanks.
I kinda works but if you use modded NCPs, there is a change that this mod will cause you the "black screen issue" where when you enter some cells... mostly the banered mare, the game will load but not show you image.
I've been playing with the mod for actually 3 months and i never had that ''black screen issue'' i was thinking to start a new game so that's why i asked
Since the description fails to mention it, this mod also adds random un-immersive NPCs with generic vanilla voices with no dialogue other than "Follow me. I need your help."
It comes bundled with the patch for Cutting Room Floor (which I don't have installed,) but when I install it via my mod manager it doesn't give me the option to install just one or the other.
Is this the mod that makes NPC's mourn or react to opposite faction deaths and even animals? So tired of troubleshooting thought I'd ask if anyone has experienced this. Me and Ralof be fighting our way to riverwood and he's shouting "By the gods no!" after we kill imperials and even wolves.
In my opinion yes. Just make sure not to use the RDO Infinite Money For Merchants, it breaks the trading. I've heard of other trading mods doing the same.

Think they can be easily removed with xEdit without breaking the mod? <.<
RDO -> Other Options -> Toggle NPCs -> Allow RDO Added Followers (untick this)
It says there are 5 of them.
