would it be possible to create a patch between "Whiterun valley -hold expansion" and "Capital whiterun expansion" that makes sure that at the entrance of WR the sellers of one mod are not buried by the EEC house of the other maod, just like the stalls on the other side are buried by a hill of dirt?

It took a while, but I finally found the ugly sucker - now I just want it to go away.  Thing thing does not belong in my Skyrim - especially not coming up the road and across the bridge to Riverrun.

Can someone point me to a tutorial on removing this thing?  I probably can't just delete it - unless I want to do that every time this mod updates (might be okay) but I'm also worried I'll break something else.
I assume a patch, but it's been almost 10 years since I did my last one and I don't remember how - or how I figured it out)

I run this mod in multiple 1200 mod + profiles with no CTD issues from it. What you have is either (easy) load order and mod conflicts or harder errors in some mesh that need to be corrected. Did you do the basic steps when setting up your mod load? Did you clean your whole load order and check it for errors in sseedit? I just looked over the bug list for this mod and it is no wonder why the MA has not responded to them. none of them are bugs and all of them are caused by similar that you have posted. load order and mod conflicts. Do you run a crash logger? it could help you find a bad mesh if that is what is causing your CTD.    Get your load order straightened out and cleaned first correctly if you use loot it is only a tool to help and not an absolute it does get some things wrong. look for patches in incorrect location they should load after the mods they are patching. use wrye to help you find mods that have their master load order incorrect and fix those. start with watching gamerpoets videos on how to mod and do the things I have said and advance your skills from there. you should be able to find the problems in your mod load and fix them very easy.

I have the same issue. Also some random CTD when running around outside Whiterun + the performance drops a lot. I love what this mod tries to do though. Could be a load order / conflict thing, I'm not sure at this point.

I'm guessing the map crashing issue has to do with my grass cache or lods or something, because I don't remember seeing it before, until I regenerated my grass cache and re-ran TexGen/DynDOLOD.

      Couple of questions
do you have a recommended crash logger?
Besides the base game .esm files - is there a list of known mods that need to be cleaned? or is there a list of "Do Not Clean" mods - I know some will break if you clean them (no, I have no idea why that is - just that some mod authors explicitly state - Do Not Clean")  I'm a bit worried that just going after everything with SSEEditQuickAutoClean (or even manually) will be worse than not.

Can someone post a map with where all these new villages are located?
I am trying to see if there would be conflicts before I DL the newest version.
    Thanks!!

there are some aerial images on the mod page. It might be easer if you told everyone what mods you were concerned about.  I guarantee there are conflicts - how ever JK's outskirts seems to work fine, as does Capital Whiterun Expansion - with the available patch. Oh, and Ryn's Western Watchtower. - Although I haven't actually explored every nook & cranny.

Wow this looks awesome! I love what you have done to breathe life into Whiterun!

However, I got one question, is this compatible with "Whiterun Has Walls Redone" and "Warbird's Whiterun Metropolis" ?

Currently, "Whiterun has walls redone" split the Marsh district in half....

Patches for Lux Via and Whiterun has walls Redone, would make this perfect. Also a patch for the Great Forest of Whiterun. Please.

I tried asking J3w3ls if he'd be willing to make a patch for this mod and his WHW... hopefully he finds the time and the desire.

Read back through the last several pages and got my answer.  Still love this mod!  And maybe need to figure out how to make an RS Children 3.0 patch. (sigh), At any rate, still think this is a phenomenal mod...alone, or in pieces!

    Just great work.

I just installed it and walked around.. loved the buildings and what it added, but I ultimately had to uninstall it because there were too many floating lanterns, houses that were raised too high, landscape gaps and things like that... a shame really

That would be mod conflicts, which probably require patches.
