This is a VR compatible rebuild of the DLL used in Blade and Blunt, since Simon and Collin do not have VR and cannot offer support for it. See the original mod page for further details on what it does.
Installation:
- EITHER use the USSEP compatibility patcher OR copy the masters from a flat SE install (section 2 of this guide article written by infernalryan gives detailed instructions on this) in order to get core global variable records needed by Blade and Blunt that do not exist in the "vanilla" VR masters. I personally prefer to copy the flat master files myself, but the USSEP compatibility patcher is simpler and is still sufficient for the purposes of this mod.
- Install Blade and Blunt and all of its requirements in VR version (note that Poached Bugs VR is the VR replacement for Scrambled Bugs)
- Install this patch and let it overwrite the .dll and .pdb files from the original
- Injuries will not show the broken portion of the health bar in VR like they do in SE/AE. The injuries themselves *will* work correctly and reduce your maximum health properly however. This limitation is due to the Survival Mode broken bar visuals not existing in the VR version of the games executable file, and is out of scope for this port to fix on its own.
- Dual wielding and hand to hand fighting styles in flat have a special attack combo (activated by power attacking with both hands simultaneously) that VR players cannot trigger. As such, the changes that Blade and Blunt makes to those combos are irrelevant for VR players, although those changes *will* apply to NPCs just fine.
