Really amazing. Thank you for doing this. I’m finding it a bit too bright still even with the tuned down version (didn’t really see much difference). Was wondering if there is a ENB setting to adjust this or if brightness is hard coded into the textures?
Regardless, this is a great improvement. Added the smoke to candles too that I didn’t know about. Thanks again!
You can tweak ENB dynamic cubemaps settings, sadly it doesn't change a thing on my side so I guess that this features really depend on the ENB you're using. Do you have a screenshot of how it looks on your side ? Some people have reported overbright metal in exteriors when using Rudy's ENB but I can't reproduce it with PRT.
I'm using ENBSeries 0.502 with the enb setup from the STEP guide (from 2023; might not be out there anymore but 2024 version is very close). Game is 1.6.640. Also added HITS, Silver Objects SMIM, Precious Objects Complex Material (to give thieves guild jewels color) and STAC. I tried (not very hard) to make some ENB adjustments in game but wasn't having any luck. My changes weren't being saved maybe cause of the STEP preset?
Zanderat, that does look better. More natural. Yes, it's Dragonreach. I tried the enb settings that you reported on ENB Dynamic Cubemaps. No change. I switched to vanilla cubemap version here, with ENB Dynamic Cubemaps, and still no change (I was expecting that to change for sure). All this makes me think that something in my enb settings is causing it. I've played with it but haven't found it yet.
Do you mind telling me which preset you use? Might help me figure out which settings are off.
Update: Kept messing with enb settings. Nothing worked. I was using STEP's Light preset and I switched to the Heavy preset. Still no change. Switched back to the Light preset and it started working. It's pretty straightforward to install so I don't know what I could've done wrong. I wish I knew what happened lol but it's working now (see pic). I wonder if the enbcache had something to do with it???
Confirm that if IgnoreLoadingScreen in enlocal.ini is false, the cubemap ENB captured when enter interior from exterior will became very bright. Set it to true will fix.
Would it be possible to get a separate mod for the CC silverware? I'd like to keep that style on them. I played around with Rudy's models and managed to get this. However the glazed items don't work with the CC silver textures.
First of all I apologize for the inconvenience, I will post my install order and can you give me an idea to install Smoking Torches and Candles after this mod, do I need to install Rudy HQ or what should I choose in your fomod because I use other texture modifiers and all I want is to get nice candle holders and candles with smoke but I can't figure out how compatible they are with your mod or what they touch, rudy if I install hq what should I not install or is it redundant with your mod, sorry for my bad english and probably stupid questions to someone as talented as you
I have bright items, its strange because it happen only in the Whiterun Temple of Mara, I use Cabbage ENB + ENB Dynamic Cubemaps + Capture Warmer I edit enb complex materials value but does nothing.
Thank you for the totalitarian move of using no comments on your Lux Patch hub, super helpful and useful for the people that use your patch happy lighting mod
Regarding overbright metal in interior with Rudy's ENB. In my case I had to turn on EnableComplexMaterial=true in enbseries.ini and delete enbcache folder. Rudy's preset doesn't come with ComplexMaterial turned on, most like because it wasn't there last time the preset was updated.
I checked both BOS options and I patched the most complete one, it's only meshes and they seem to share names in all versions so I think that it should work on all versions.
I'm just seeing this now - my main BOS file is using wSkeevers meshes and the optional file has a FOMOD for Rudy's Silverware for the BOS files. Otherwise the other files since there are quite a few I forgot to fomod the replacers themselves and just kept them separately.
If the patch for GG's is using the wSkeever Models then you'll only need my main BOS File or the Main Replacer since those are the meshes I had used and let GG's patch overwrite my mod to get the complex materials. Cheers and thanks for this patch GG!

I edit enb complex materials value but does nothing.
I also use ParallaxGen who overwrite your meshes.

It's incredible - I keep wanting to reach into the screen to touch this silverware.
11/10.

(Edited to remove an illiteracy-based duh moment)
Which file on Stormy's page is the patch for? There's quite a few options.
