* ParallaxR - creates parallax height maps * VRAMr - downscales and optimises textures to increase game performance * ParallaxGen - patches meshes for either simple parallax or complex parallax material support * BENDr - recalculates normal maps to enhance ambient occlusion and self shadowing
RECOMMENDED LOAD ORDER (Please close all unnecessary programs like discord, browsers, etc. When running demanding tools in this load order such as VRAMr, xLODGen and Dyndolod)
1. MisMatchR 2. ParallaxR 3. BENDr 4. VRAMr 5. PG Patcher (ParallaxGen). 6. xLODGen From this point - disable VRAMr's output 7. Texgen 8. Dyndolod VRAMr's output can now safely be enabled again.

any chance to do it for a single mod like is possible with parallaxR? for example now I'm trying to run it on vigilant MOD textures, I don't want to run on all textures...
Great tool but it is a very long process when you only want to update for one or few new mods. Not to mention that I end up going in there to disable certain results that aren't working so well for some mods.
Sorry - I should've come back to see for your response. Bit late now but I can make a list of things (outfits and some clutter items mostly) that I disabled the next time I run it for an update. Cheers.
So this is meant to enhance SSAO -- however, if I wanted to gain FPS in VR, would it be possible to use this output to replace SSAO instead of enhance it? To turn that feature off and replace it with BENDr output? Or does BENDr's output require SSAO to be enabled to work?
BENDr is not SSAO, the algorithm/shaders used in SSAO are very different to raycasting for self-shadowing and bent normals, which BENDr is. You'll certainly notice a lack of SSAO if you turn it off, that said will you miss it enough vs the frame loss?
Those rocks just off centre to the right, loving the strong AO there to go with BENDr, nice work....glad you like. Thanks for sharing. To get to V1 took 18 months on/off of developing BENDr, despite a rough launch due to artifacts, V2 has got rid of them and things just look so much better now!- the feedback on our Discord is great too, some epic screenshots.
the window game is freezed since i installed BENDr with the "dropNdrag" file. My pc has 3070RTX, i7 and 16go RAM. is it not enough for parallax? I tried to uninstall BENDr and the "dropNdrag" file but it seems it doesn't change anything because i still have the shaders compilation loading with a freezing screen. How to uninstall it properly and totally?
Error: The following required file(s) were not found in the provided profile folder: - loadorder.txt - archives.txt Reverting to Simple BSA Extraction...
it still runs but im not sure how to make it detect those?
MO 2 too. the program worked. Created 2.2 gigabites of data, but when i drag and drop the folder in MO2 it says it contains no esp/esm/textures etc....
Mine isnt that bad, it's still like half working, are you exracting it to another folder and then dragging it? like it is working for me I just installed it works fine my only issue is its doing a simple excraction as ooposed to a layered- no idea what that means
I Packed the file into a .rar file and then extracted that file in MO2. Now it appears to work. Should this Bendr have a esp ? Or just loose files ? I have no .esp
idk if its related, but VRAMr did this to me the first time i ran it because during the folder selection for profile, i clicked on the folder titled "profiles". i went back and clicked on my specific profile within that folder and the error went away. im a mo2 user. sorry if this is worthless. hope it helps.
edit shoot should have looked closer, mod author already posted this. so sorry..
i got the layered bsa extract working you where right, it was just a bit confusing for me because my profile is called "default" just click that and its all good
I've got a 19 GB output, is that normal? It seems massive and it didn't even take too long to generate (around 40 minutes). As a reference I have got a custom 1200 modlist, no particularly taxing textures (mostly 2K, occasional 4K), Dyndolod output is around 9/10 GB (to that I got used too).
ParallaxR output instead is around 600 Meg but it took 4 hrs to generate.
Not criticizing at all, actually I'm grateful for the whole R-set of mods, it's just that being the first time I run the full suite I'm merely asking for informed opinions.
I hazard a guess that the 19Gb is your original files not BENDr'd - why is a misnomer until we see your logfiles....but it should give us some clarity and we'll get you fixed up.

You have already removed your BENDr output, and that is the only modification the mod provides. This means BENDr in no way is affecting your game.
You may send your logfiles though. You'll find this in the folder created by BENDr (which is outside of your mod manager.)
Can you share your logfiles? It is hard to say BENDr is at fault without them. v2 should not be causing such a massive error.

Simple over layered should mean just being smarter about conflicts. Making sure it gets the right winning texture.
I'm not sure why it's not working. As long as you're doing that, it should.
Basically... if your profile name is "chips" make sure you're selecting the subfolder named chips when selecting your profile in BENDr.
