Introducing, Mannimarco's Staff of Worms, as seen in the Elder Scrolls Online. I loved the appearance used for this staff in ESO, so I decided to make it for Skyrim.
What this adds:
x1 short quest to obtain the staff
x1 small dungeon
x1 new enemy faction (Cult of Worms)
x1 Mythic Artifact (Staff of Worms)
How to Start the Quest:
Upon finishing the quest "First Lessons" for the College of Winterhold, you'll find a note in your room, located inside the Hall of Attainment. The note is called Humble Invitation and will start the quest once read. I would advise doing this at a higher level, but it is possible to do at a low level. Recommended level should be around 20.
What the Staff of Worms does:
Of course there are plenty of versions already for the Staff of Worms, including the CC version. This is a completely unique version which deals a massive amount of damage through an effect called Lifesnare. It also does soul trap upon death of the target, and the wielder may target a corpse instead to indeffinetly resurrect them.
If using a College of Winterhold interior overhaul, I would advise not activating it until after you have started the quest to avoid losing the note. I'll need time to make the appropriate patches for this to prevent conflicts.
