Just a quick update that I rarely ever check the comment pages of any of my mods other than the flagship mod page for Legacy, so if you have any issues it's best to come there or bring your issue to my discord server (linked on the Legacy main mod page). Thanks.
The recent update to V3.0.0 REQUIRES Legacy of the Dragonborn V6 which is releasing shortly. You can still use this updated version but auryen's voice files will not work until V6 is posted or you extract and rename the BSA to the old folder name of UniqueMaleAuryen.
Auryen won't let me show him Drakensang, thus making its in-game name CHANGE to Drakensang and let me get it out of my inventory - and by extension, removing An Interesting Prospect from my questlog.
Yes, then went straight to Solitude. I talked to Auryen, he gave me the key to the safehouse, but for some reason, An Interesting Prospect won't leave my quest log. Nor will he even acknowledge Drakensang. x.x
Edit: ...Apparently dropping the relic and picking it up fixed all of it, somehow. ._.
To sirjesto. I have never taken the carriage to Whiterun. Regardless, that shouldn't have anything to do with Auryen not giving the dialogue for Drakensang. The issue randomly shows up for me. On one playthrough, it'll be fine, but on another, the issue will happen.
hi did anybody find a way to port this on a 1.5.9.7 version ? i still havn't uppgraded to "ae" and probably won't but my save recently crashed so i need to restart v6 from scratch and that could give me a good push on the start
I'm not sure if you've already figured this out, but this is what it said to do on the LotD page. You need the _ResourcePack.bsa and _ResourcePack.esl files from the AE update to use the LotD mods. Here are the instructions they provided. On windows: -Open steam -Press (Windows key)+R and type "steam://open/console" -Once opened, type the following and press enter "download_depot 489830 489831 8442952117333549665" -Wait until steam console says: "Depot download complete" -Go to "steam/steamapps/content" and in the folder located there you'll find some content for Skyrim, plus the _resourcepack.esl and _resourcepack.bsa -Use winrar or 7zip to put both .bsa and .esl into a zip/rar file. Name that file _resourcepack -Use MO2 or whatever you use to install that rar/7zip file. -Make sure you name it "_resourcepack" and place it at the top of your Mod list. (This last step isn't necessary, it's just for the sake of knowing where and what it is later on.) -Activate it and there you have it. No piracy, no missing out on the mod, no updating anything. Simply using steam services.
I have a bug where upon activating the bottomless pack (and all the other tools on that shelf) as well as akaviri relic in the temple, they just disappear and are not added to my inventory. I was able to use an additem menu mod to add them to my inventory manually. It seems that everything else in the world that is able to be picked up (ie. plates, wine, food, etc) works fine and is added to my inventory like it should. I will post the link to a pastebin with my load order and I'll start searching for the culprit myself. If i did something wrong in showing my load order please tell me and I'll gladly fix it I apologize in advance I'm not tech savvy. Thank you for this mod and all your hard work.
i have the exact same problem, everything is freshly installed and up-to-date so don't really know what i can do
Edit: for this alternate start, Digging Up Explorers should already be completed. I went to the Guildhouse and recalled all the explorers and they all came back including Eriana, spoke to Latoria and she gave me Wanderlust. So i think this issue can be safely ignored
Can I use another alt start mod other than Alternate Start? I have perspective, and it doesn't play nice with Alternate Start. It does have the I'm in a Guild option, so I would assume so, but not entirely sure.
Start game. Be bombarded with a series of infuriating modal windows while my character is riddled with arrows in the background. Die.
I've repeated this process about 15 times now, and I've had enough. This mod is absolute garbage. Nobody in their right mind would ever think that it would be a good idea to start the game with your character being IMMEDIATELY attacked, even before the fade from black had even finished. Please, for the love of god, put in at least some thought before attempting your next mod.
yeah i am being also attacked every new game, but i prefer to use "tgm" for a short moment more than going to nexusmods and insulting the modder for his work, which he contributes for free to the community. this mod is great and im eager to see your version.
An Interesting Prospect isn't completing even though the museum is open and I've been doing a bunch of the quests. I used the Relic Hunter start. The quest's only objective is "Meet Auryen at the museum" which it indicates is completed. Anything I'm doing wrong here or is it a bug?

Guess Todd was right, it really DOES work.

To HughMann1,
That fixed the issue for me.
