Well this is my attempt at something similar, inspired by souls games and Gamepad Controlmap for One Click Power Attack, so go check it out if you don't like my version.
Update v1.3:
Since the FOMOD conditions were starting to grow too large and many modules started being soft incompatible, I have finally decided to base this controlset not only on .ini changes, but also on Gamepad++. This allows me to drastically cut on FOMOD conditions (from over 400 to barely 12) and integrate all modules together seamlessly. Therefore, version 1.3 forwards requires Gamepad++ to work correctly.
What's the difference, you ask? Gamepad++ allows up to 80 different key combinations on controller. This enables me to resolve all those soft incompatibilities like Static stances + The Dragonborn's Bestiary + Simplest Horses, etc... and the FOMOD has grown to show it. Many patches that were previously selectable are now available without the need to be selected, as they have been seamlessly integrated in Gamepad++. Almost everything is now compatible by default.
However, there is one more step in the installation procedure that you need to do for yourself.
- One Click Power Attack: to press RT to power attack.
- Photo Mode: to press Back + LB to open photo mode. This configuration also enables time freeze when opening photo mode.
- Use or Take: to press Back to change the interaction
- Read or Take: to press Back to change the interaction.
- Dynamic Activation Key: to press Back to change the interaction.
- Dialogue History: to press Back during a dialogue to see the dialgue history. This does not apply outside of a dialogue.
- TK Dodge RE: to press B to dodge. This configuration will not enable step dodge by default. Recommended over TUDM.
- The Ultimate Dodge Mod Reborn: to press B to dodge. Use either this or TK Dodge RE.
- Wheeler: to press LT to open the wheel.
- Stances: to change stance while blocking or with LB + Dpad.
- Racemenu Outfit Toggle: to press BACK to toggle the outfit visibility in racemenu.
- The Dragonborn's Bestiary: to press BACK + Dpad-RIGHT to open the bestiary.
- Swiftly Order Squad: to press Dpad-LEFT to open the follower menu.
- Simplest Horses: to press BACK + Dpad-UP to interact with your horse.
- SoulsyHUD: to use LT to control the SoulsyHUD rather than Wheeler.
- Press H to Horse: to use BACK + Dpad-UP to interact with your horse.
- Dodge MCO: to use B to dodge. It should work as long as you don't use Skyrim Souls RE.
- Dynamic Grip: to press A + Dpad-RIGHT to change grip.
- LamasTinyHUD: to use LT to control the LamasTinyHUD rather than Wheeler.
- Let Your Hair Down: to hold A + Dpad-UP to let your hair down.
- Taunt Your Enemies: to use A + Dpad-LEFT to taunt your enemies.
- Remote Interactions: to hold A + Dpad-LEFT to use Remote Interactions. Requires its setting loader.
- Dynamic Wait: to use Dpad-RIGHT to speed up time.
- True Prone System: to use Dpad-DOWN while crouching to crawl.
- Skyclimb: to use the alternative climb option. Requires its setting loader.
- Helmet Toggle 2: Press A + Dpad-UP to toggle your helmet. Experimental as my game crashes every time I try to toggle it manually. Let me know if it works.
Mods that don't require patching:
- Switch Camera During Dialogue: Press RIGHT Stick to switch camera.
These, instead, are the mods that I hope to patch in the future, in no particular order:
Let me know if there is any other mod you would like me to integrate.
There are now four modifiers:
Main Modifier (BACK), Soulsy Modifier (LT), Stances Modifier (LB) and Interaction Modifier (A).
The pictures show what you can enable with each modifier in the same color
STATIC: Use the Dpad to change stance
As of version 1.3 this has changed to LB + Dpad.
A new save is not required, however, if it looks like the mod integrations aren't working, delete the .ini of the mods included from your overwrite folder and let this mod override any other.
Required as of version 1.3:
Once you're in-game load the MCM Menu of Gamepad++, scroll down to "Presets & Info" and load the preset "MCGO". Unfortunately, I cannot load it automatically.
If you use Let Your Hair Down, do the same for this mod and load the "MCGO" profile.
If you're using The Ultimate Dodge Mod you may have to enable controller support manually, as I couldn't make the MCM work on my end. Once controller support is enabled you should directly be able to dodge using B, as long as you've followed the installation procedures.
- To add wheels and entries to wheeler you will have to use your keyboard. I've tried playing with the configuration files but I couldn't manage to assign a keybind that actually worked. You can press Home to open the dTry menu and assign them to any key you want.
- Photo Mode doesn't disable Wheeler, so if you press LT during photo mode the wheel will open while you reposition down.
- You can either use Wheeler or SoulsyHUD.
- As of version 1.3, soulslike HUDs don't support assigning to the menu via gamepad. This is being looked on and will hopefully be fixed soon.
In the meantime, you can use the keys 2, 4, 5 and 6 (3 is to use an item).
You can redistribute this mod only inside nexusmods if you have been given a permission by me, or if, after asking for a permission I have not replied for more than three months, as long as you make your version open source and credit the original mod. This applies to any of my mods.
You can create patches for my mods without need of any permission as long as your patch doesn't affect the entirety of the mod's file, as that would count as an entire redistribution.
