The reward is the Speech skill, and also if you have Daedric Decipherer you can translate atronach forge recipes yourself. But I love your idea of integrating it with some spells. I'll look into that, see if I can find some spells that would be suitable.
The mage in the Winterhold inn, Nelacar, is also someone who is clearly experienced with Daedric stuff. But he says that he doesn't take on students, so there's a missed opportunity for him. ;)
Look Todd, LOOK! You better have these types of immersion for TES6 or else imma 16times the hatred upon your future game (still buy it tho, it just works).
To the mod author: You're making a profound implement for the game there. Amazing! A swift workaround for the texture of the board and the board frame (depending on the texture around for better blending) would be even better, but I'm not asking as a request so you don't have to tackle this suggestion.
