Ain't nothing to it ... After engaging in horse dismounting shenanigans with the Horsin' Around, I thought, why not improve the regular dismounting animation while I’m at it?
Here's my take on it:

Way I see it, the new dismounting animation should be better than the vanilla one for two reasons: a) It's about 20 percent faster (I didn't speed it up; the logic itself is just shorter), so that'll instantly free up 30 minutes of your life on a daily basis b) more importantly, I think the new way to get off the high horse looks cooler, equestrian realism be damned. ^_^
Requirements: None - it's a simple animation replacement, install and uninstall whenever you want.
Incompatible: Faster Horse Dismount SSE (but feel free to use the sped-up mounting one) Horse Mount and Dismount Double Sound Fix from Paired Animation Improvements (mine already comes with said fix, but feel free to use the mounting one) Any other mods that directly edit or unconditionally replace paired_dismount.hkx that I don't know about.
